Happy Christmas Snowman on Tartan background Christmas Card Hi Craft addicts! Goodness Christmas is nearly here! This is a fun card I made using stamps, dies and a Peel-Off sticker.... How I made this project:- This is a 7" x 5" white card which you can buy from most Craft Companies - such as Create and Craft, Hunkydory and Creative Crafting World and I have used it landscape instead of the usual portrait. Tartan makes such a fun background that I used this red, green and black one to make the backing, trimming an 8" piece of paper (from a Hunkydory pad). I attached it to the front of the card using PVA glue and then cut a strip of the reverse side (Green) approximately 1.5" wide and the length of the main panel and then another one from the Tartan slightly narrower and stuck them together with PVA glue again. I then attached that to the main panel making sure that it didn't go over the edge. I cut out 3 circle frames - two in white ...

Merry Christmas Snowmen skating square Christmas card Hi Craft addicts! I hope you had a great weekend! Here is a fun card I made using stamps and dies.... How I made this project:- This is a 6" white card which you can buy from most Craft Companies - such as Create and Craft, Hunkydory and Creative Crafting World. I have found a love of all things Tartan and so cut a panel of this dark purple Tartan to fit the front of the card leaving a narrow border all around and attached it using PVA glue (such as Pinflair's Bookbinding or Cosmic Shimmer). I then cut out the largest panel Holly frame die from Sweet Dixie in white card (you will need an A4 cutting machine to do this (such as the Cut n Boss or Gemini). I put it in to my 8" Rare Earth Load and Fold, taped it down with some low tack tape and stamped the Skating Snowmen (from Woodware Stamps) onto it using Gina K Black Amalgam ink.  I coloured the Snowmen in (just the edges) with a couple of sha...

Happy Christmas Penguins and Igloo square card Hi Craft addicts! I like using a variety of Companies when making my projects and this card is no exception! How I made this project:- This is a 5in white square card (which are available from a variety of Companies such as Hunkydory, Creative Crafting World and so on). I have had this A4 pad of a variety of Tartan papers for ages and so cut a strip (approximately 2" wide) and attached it to the left hand side of the card using PVA glue. I then stamped out two of the Penguins and the Igloo from Lisa Horton's Penguin Fun stamp set from Creative Expressions using Gina K's Black Amalgam ink on to some white stamping card. I coloured them in using alcohol markers (both Hunkydory's Prism and Spectrum Noir) and cut them out close to the edge, which I then coloured in with a Black alcohol marker. Merry Christmas Santa, Sleigh and winter magical scene  square card Hi Craft addicts! I like using a variety of Companies when making my projects and this card is no exception! How I made this project:- This is a 6in white square card (which are available from a variety of Companies such as Hunkydory, Creative Crafting World and so on) and 1 sheet of 6in paper from Hunkydory's Once Upon a Twilight Magical Christmas which I stuck to the front of it using PVA glue. I then cut out the houses, Santa's Sleigh and reindeer out in Black card (I used Lynda Chapman's World of Paper) and glued them to the card again using PVA glue. I decided I wanted the sleigh to cover the moon as it gives a bit more interest. I used some white card to cut out the Merry Christmas die and attached it to the bottom left hand corner of the card. Cracker Season's Greetings Christmas square card Hi Craft addicts! This is a slightly more complicated card (well for me it is) but had great fun making it - see below as to how I made it.... How I made this project:- You need two 5" square cards to make this card - and to start with you need to stick the left hand flap of one of them on top of the right hand flap of the second - I used PVA glue as it grabs relatively quickly. Once it was dry, I then opened it out and cut the flaps diagonally from the top left to bottom right hand corners - reversing it for the right hand flap. I measured the inside of the card and cut out a panel of the yellow tartan paper (from an old Craftstyle A4 pad I have had for ages) and then added a piece of Mustard Yellow paper in the middle of it so there is somewhere to write your message. Have a Yummy Christmas 7x5in Christmas card Hi Craft addicts! Well today's card is a very simple one using one sheet of Hunkydory's Christmas toppers..... How I made this card:- I removed the arched topper from the Hunkydory's Christmas sheet, not using the arch frame as I wanted it to stand alone. I took one of the border strips (it says Merry Christmas) and stuck it to the middle of a 7" x 5" white card - you can use any glue or tape pen. I then removed two of the corner pieces from the collection and stuck them to the top corners using a tape pen. I placed the arched topper over it leaving a very narrow space at the top and bottom. I then placed the Have a Yummy Christmas sentiment strip at the bottom, attaching it with foam pads. Merry Christmas - Christmas Bells 7x5in white card -  Day 331 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card for day 331 of my challenge, I have made this simple but stylish Merry Christmas card.... How I made this card:- I first of all cut out the Christmas Bells die from Tattered Lace in white card. It really is a lovely die-cut! i then coloured it in using Hunkydory's Prism watercolour pencils - I used yellow and a darker yellow on the bells to give the impression they were gold, various shades of blue for the ribbon and greens for the leaves. When I was happy with the way it looked, I stuck it to the front of a 7" x 5" white card (from Create & Craft's Core Collection but other companies sell them) using PVA glue. I then attached the Merry Christmas sentiment label tag (from an old collection by Craftwork Cards) using foam pads. Season's Greetings Cute Penguins in a row DL card -  Day 320 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Goodness, it is less than 6 weeks till Christmas now and so I thought I better start posting some of the Christmas cards I have made... So here is the first one! How I made this card:- I first of all stamped out the penguin strip on to some white card using Tuxedo Black Memento ink - as it is a long stamp I used my Eureka 101 stamping platform to do this. I then coloured them in with various alcohol markers. I decided to then stick them on to a strip of vellum/parchment as I wanted to add them to the striped background. As you wouldn't be seeing the glue, I used a PVA glue to do this. Once it was dry, I added some narrow ultra strong red liner tape to either edge of the parchment and attached it to the red and white backing paper. This background is slightly narrower than the white DL card (side fold) and so glued it to the front of it leaving a small space ...

Robins on branches - 2 C6 Christmas cards -  Day 353 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I have written a couple of days ago about a card I made using these toppers but when I came to look at it again, I realised that I had stamped the sentiment upside down! So rather than wasting the toppers, I used them to make these. How I made these cards:- I had, as I said earlier, both these toppers already which I had made out of a couple of peel off stickers which I had placed on pentagons coloured by using some "Blue - B01" Generation INX dies. I then mat and layered them to a couple of label/tag shapes which I had cut out in blue card and added that to some cream cardstock. I had also cut out a "jagged edged" strip out of "blue" card which I had cut  out using my Brother ScanNCut and trimmed it to fit both of the cards in the centre of them. Happy Christmas - Snowman with broom DL card -  day 350 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! So today's card is one using the "Snowman with broom" peel off again - this time a DL Christmas card. How I made this card:- I really love these "Snowmen" peel off stickers and so once again have made a Christmas card using them. I first of all added the sticker to some super smooth card and coloured the background (masking off the snowman) using some "Blue - B01" Generation INX inks using more at the top of the card to make it darker (and leaving some white space around the snowman). I had added the peel off sticker "Snowflakes" before I coloured it and removed them once I had finished (using them like a stencil). I also masked off some of the lower part of the card and left it white so it looked like snow.
