Merry Christmas Snowmen skating square Christmas card
Merry Christmas Snowmen skating square Christmas card
Hi Craft addicts!
I hope you had a great weekend! Here is a fun card I made using stamps and dies....
How I made this project:-
- This is a 6" white card which you can buy from most Craft Companies - such as Create and Craft, Hunkydory and Creative Crafting World.
- I have found a love of all things Tartan and so cut a panel of this dark purple Tartan to fit the front of the card leaving a narrow border all around and attached it using PVA glue (such as Pinflair's Bookbinding or Cosmic Shimmer).
- I then cut out the largest panel Holly frame die from Sweet Dixie in white card (you will need an A4 cutting machine to do this (such as the Cut n Boss or Gemini).
- I put it in to my 8" Rare Earth Load and Fold, taped it down with some low tack tape and stamped the Skating Snowmen (from Woodware Stamps) onto it using Gina K Black Amalgam ink.
- I coloured the Snowmen in (just the edges) with a couple of shades of Grey from Hunkydory's Prism alcohol markers. I also used darker Grey for their hats and other colours from Crafter's Companion's Tri-blend markers.
- I used PVA glue to attach the panel on to the front of the card.
- Finally, I added the Merry Christmas sentiment on to the bottom right hand corner with foam pads.
