Two hearts in black 6in linen effect card -  LOVE (Valentine's Day card) Hi Craft addicts! Another card suitable for Valentine's Day or just to say you love someone - this time using Tonic Studios Dies and one cut out using my Brother ScanNCut! How I made this card:-  I used a 6" white linen effect card and using my Tattered Lace mini scoring board, scored the top and bottom of the card several times (both from the inside and out of it). I also added one single embossed line to the left and right of the front of it. I then cut out the main "Heart" in black card using a Tonic Studios die and another more stylised heart using a shape that is in Brother ScanNCut's CANVAS. I also cut out the "LOVE" sentiment (again I think it is a Tonic Die but could be mistaken) this time in an "Orangey-red" Mirri card from Hunkydory. I stuck the first heart to the left hand side of the card at an angle using CS glue and then placed the 2nd ...

Oriental style peacock on 7x5in card -  Day 299 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today I have visited the Orient and have made this 7" x 5" card using a beautiful "Peacock" topper from the Little Book of the Orient topper pad from Hunkydory along with frames cut out using Tonic Stuidios dies How to make the card:- I first of all took the "peacock" topper sheet from the "Little Book of the Orient" pad from Hunkydory and cut the main image out using the "label" frame that I think comes from Tonic Studios. I then used a sheet of the teal paper (from the "Radiant Radiance" paper pad and cut it out using the size larger frame and another one in black cardstock with the largest of the frame dies. I used Collall All purpose glue to attach the topper to the first frame and then that to the largest frame. I then stuck the whole topper to a white 7" x 5" card using a tape pen. For the sentiment, ...

New baby card - stork with baby bundle -  Day 253 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! So today's card is slightly different in that it is a "New Baby" card using various die cuts that I had in my "stash". To make the background and toppers -  i first of all took one of the Tonic Studios background dies and cut  it out in red cardstock (not sure which die set it is from unfortunately) I then cut out the next layer which is a Tattered Lace frame in white (again not sure which one it is) I also cut out an oval shape from the "Pin Dots" ovals die set from Tattered Lace in black card. I then cut out the "stork" (again from Tattered Lace ) in white card and coloured  it in using Spectrum Noir alcohol markers - "Green LG4" , for the bag, "beige EB1" for the bill and legs, "Yellow" for the body and "tan TN3 " for the head. I didn't want it to be the traditional blu...

Happy birthday - musical notes 7" x 5" white card -  day 226 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! So for today's challenge, I have made this birthday card that could be suitable for both men and women I think! To make the main panel - I first of all cut out the circle topper using the "Cut, Tuck and Fold" die from Tattered Lace in cream cardstock and folded the cut out bits so they overlapped each other - I think it would work brilliantly if cut out in "Topsy Turvy" card so another colour showed through. I also cut out the bright blue panel using the Tattered Lace "Pin dot rectangle" die and glued the circle to it. I also cut out the "musical notes" in black card using the Tonic Studios "Music" die and then glued it to the bottom of the card (I trimmed it so it fitted the card properly).  To finish the card - I added the "Happy Birthday" sentiment onto a precut oval I had in ...
