  Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge is a fun owl themed card.... I wanted to try swapping the stamping and creating the background around so I stamped the Owl and the sentiment from a Creative Expressions set on to some white stamping card using Gina K Obsidian black ink. I then used the Cosmic Shimmer Pixie Powders (they come in a variety of colours and what is so great is that you never really know what the result is going to be once you add some water to them). I used some kitchen roll to remove the excess water from it which also softened the colours too. Once it was dry I used the Spellbinders Petite Picot edge rectangle die and cut the image out and attached it to a slightly larger panel of dark green cardstock and glued the whole panel on to the front of a 7" x 5" white card towards the top of the card leaving a space at the bottom (about 3/4").
