Merry Christmas Snowmen skating square Christmas card Hi Craft addicts! I hope you had a great weekend! Here is a fun card I made using stamps and dies.... How I made this project:- This is a 6" white card which you can buy from most Craft Companies - such as Create and Craft, Hunkydory and Creative Crafting World. I have found a love of all things Tartan and so cut a panel of this dark purple Tartan to fit the front of the card leaving a narrow border all around and attached it using PVA glue (such as Pinflair's Bookbinding or Cosmic Shimmer). I then cut out the largest panel Holly frame die from Sweet Dixie in white card (you will need an A4 cutting machine to do this (such as the Cut n Boss or Gemini). I put it in to my 8" Rare Earth Load and Fold, taped it down with some low tack tape and stamped the Skating Snowmen (from Woodware Stamps) onto it using Gina K Black Amalgam ink.  I coloured the Snowmen in (just the edges) with a couple of sha...

Have a Yummy Christmas 7x5in Christmas card Hi Craft addicts! Well today's card is a very simple one using one sheet of Hunkydory's Christmas toppers..... How I made this card:- I removed the arched topper from the Hunkydory's Christmas sheet, not using the arch frame as I wanted it to stand alone. I took one of the border strips (it says Merry Christmas) and stuck it to the middle of a 7" x 5" white card - you can use any glue or tape pen. I then removed two of the corner pieces from the collection and stuck them to the top corners using a tape pen. I placed the arched topper over it leaving a very narrow space at the top and bottom. I then placed the Have a Yummy Christmas sentiment strip at the bottom, attaching it with foam pads. Merry Christmas - Owl in Silhouette card -  Day 355 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I thought I would make a slightly different (non festive) Christmas card for day 355 of my challenge - this time using an image I cut out using my Brother Scan n Cut on a hand coloured background. How I made this card:- I found this image of an owl (not sure where I found it) and imported it into my Brother Scan n Cut Canvas Workspace and resized it to the one I wanted (approx 3.5" x 3") and then moved it to my machine and cut it out in black card. I coloured a piece of white linen effect with Orange, Yellow and Red dye based/distress inks to create a sunrise/sunset background. I then trimmed it to 4.5" x 5" and glued it to a slightly larger black piece of card. I cut a strip of Orange and White spotty paper (approximately 1" wide and 7" wide) and glued it to a slightly wider piece of black card. I then glued it to the centre of a 7...

Merry Christmas Penguin card -  Day 343 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! So today's card for my challenge is a cute penguin Merry Christmas card - using dies and stamps to make it! How I made this card:- I first of all cut out the Penguin die twice - once in white and another in black card. It is really clear where you need to cut it so,I cut the head and body out from the white version and stuck it to the black one, making sure it was in the right place. I then cut out a Torn Edge rectangle in black Adorable Scorable card (making a frame but using a smaller die in the middle) and a larger mat in cream Glitter card. I stuck the penguin on to the glitter card using PVA glue and then added the frame on top of that. I also cut out a larger mat again using a Torn Edge rectangle, this time using a wooden effect vellum.  I used some narrow red liner tape to attach it to the centre of a 7" x 5" top fold card (from Stamps by Me) and then glued the main...

Merry Christmas - Snow-woman square card -  Day 337 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! This is a handmade stamped Christmas card coloured using alcohol markers. How I made this card :- I first of all stamped the lady snowman (from Sweet Dixie) out on to white stamping card using Tuxedo Black ink. I then coloured the image in using a variety of alcohol markers, also adding a little bit of grey to just beneath the snow line to give it grounding. Taking a pink alcohol marker, I then edged the panel using the chisel point. I had had this blue and white pennant border strip for some time and so cut it into two and placed both ends in the middle of a 5" white card and glued it in using a tape pen. I then stuck the topper on to that using PVA glue. Finally, I stamped the Merry Christmas sentiment in the middle of the card (at the bottom) using Toffee Versafine ink. Christmas Robins Christmas cards - 2 cards for 1 -  Day 323 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's challenge (day 323) is 2 for the "price" of one - Robins with 2 different sentiments that are quick and easy to make... How I made these cards:- Both cards have been made using the Christmas Robin mat and layer die set from Paper Boutique and I cut both of them out of 2 shades of brown card and then the breast part in red. I added the bodies of the Robins first of all to the mat making sure that the feet etc were in the right place. Once I was happy with them, I then added the red breasts using PVA glue. I used a White Gel pen to add a dot in their eyes and also a bit to the front of the breast to give it some dimension. I decided that I wanted them both to have a green and white theme, so cut the striped/spotty backgrounds (on the left), using a Tattered Lace die for the top layer and edged it with a dark green alcohol marker.  I then added t...
