Merry Christmas - Snow-woman square card - Day 337 of my 365 day challenge
Merry Christmas - Snow-woman square card -
Day 337 of my 365 day challenge
Hi Craft addicts!
This is a handmade stamped Christmas card coloured using alcohol markers.
How I made this card:-
- I first of all stamped the lady snowman (from Sweet Dixie) out on to white stamping card using Tuxedo Black ink.
- I then coloured the image in using a variety of alcohol markers, also adding a little bit of grey to just beneath the snow line to give it grounding.
- Taking a pink alcohol marker, I then edged the panel using the chisel point.
- I had had this blue and white pennant border strip for some time and so cut it into two and placed both ends in the middle of a 5" white card and glued it in using a tape pen.
- I then stuck the topper on to that using PVA glue.
- Finally, I stamped the Merry Christmas sentiment in the middle of the card (at the bottom) using Toffee Versafine ink.
And there you are - A quick and easy card that is fun to make and great to give...
