Dandelion clocks on hand coloured background 6" black card -
Day 253 of my 365 day challenge
Hi Craft Addicts!
Today's project for day 253 of my challenge is a plain card using one of the sheets from Hunkydory's new Paper pads from Prism, some inks and some Mirror card.
How I made this card:-
- This is a very simple card to make as I have used one of the topper sheets from Volume 2 of the new pads from the Prism range from Hunkydory.
- I took various inks (both Tim Holtz Distress Oxide and Gina K inks) to colour the background blending each colour in to the next several times.
- When I was happy with the colouring, I used some kitchen roll to remove any excess ink from the surface.
- I then attached it to some Green Mirror card, leaving a very narrow border around and then placed it on the front of a 6" black pearlescent card from the new Core range from Create and Craft.
- Finally, I added some Crystalline Drops (from Gina K) to opposite sides of the card and in the centres of the dandelion clocks etc - once they are dry they will be translucent.
And there you are - a card that you could send to someone who needs to know you are thinking of them and one that would be again different every time as the background would never be the same!
