Trio of Animal silhouette A6 cards - Cat, Dog and Hedgehog with flowers Hi Craft addicts! Well I hope you are having a good week so far and a Happy May Day to you all.... I had a great time making these three cards using a mix of dies and backgrounds I created myself. How I made these cards:- These are very quick and simple cards to make and would make great cards to give as Thank You cards etc. I first of all cut out the 3 dies (Cat, Dog and Seahorse) in black card (Lynda Chapman's). I then created three backgrounds - the cat and dog ones were made using Rainbow colour Tim Holtz Distress Crayons (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, lavender and violet) - the seahorse background was painted using watercolour paints - I blended them all using some water and a paintbrush. Once they were dry, I glued the die-cuts on top of each of them and trimmed around them, trying to leave as little of the background showing.
