  Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card is A6 and has been made using dies, stamps and colouring materials. I cut out the largest panel (Lisa Horton's Harlequin Bubbles Mini Slimline Die) in Lynda Chapman's Black card first of all. I then cut out a smaller rectangle in white and whilst still in the die, coloured it with a variety of Harmony inks from Crafter's Companion - red, yellow and orange and blended them in until I was happy with the result and took it out of the die to dry. I cleaned the die so that there was no ink left on it. I then cut out the sentiment panel dies which are from the Tags collection from Carnation Crafts - the layering panel in white and coloured it in to match the main background, then the ornate part in Lynda Chapman's Black card and the sentiment panel in white. I then used a dotty pen (from Crafter's Companion) to attach the ornate panel to the back layer and then a normal tape pen to attach the white panel. The sentiment, ...

Just Because... mouse on flowers 2 A6 cards Hi Craft Addicts! Well we're back to cloud today but hopefully these 2 cards will cheer things up! How I made these cards i first of all cut out the Mouse on a flower Paper Cuts Edger die twice - once in Black and the other in yellow card.  I trimmed them both so they fitted the front of the cards - one is an A6 and the other A2 (both roughly the same size but one is American size). I then glued them to the front of the cards using Pinflair's Glue it Glue. Using White embossing powder for both sentiments, I first of all stamped the Just Because phrase out on to black card and a pale Kraft card with Versamark (having dusted both with an anti-static bag first). I then heat set the powder and cut around them. I then attached both of them to the bottom of the cards using foam pads. And there you are 2 very simple cards but you could produce a set of them and put them in a box as they would make a great gift. Don...

Have a Mice Day! cute mice and flowers 7x5in card -  Day 95 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is a cute card made from stamped images from For The Love of Stamps and a background cut out on my Brother Scan n Cut. How I made this card:- I had cut out the holey panel using my Brother Scan n Cut out of brown card (from American Crafts or Lynda Chapman's World of Paper) which measures 95x145mm. I also cut a similar panel using some brick effect card/paper from the Man Made collection from Craftwork Cards and coloured it with Orange, Red and Yellow dye based or Distress inks so that it had an Ombre effect. I stuck the brown card on it and trimmed it to fit. I then cut another slightly larger panel in black card and added a narrow strip of vellum and placed it in the middle, attaching it with some tape at the back. You don't have to be perfect...hand stamped and coloured C6 card - Day 51 of my 365 day challengge Hi Craft addicts! For today's challenge, I have used the same cute mice and duck stamps that i used in a previous card, this time using them with some stamps from Sweet Dixie and embossing the sentiment on some parchment/vellum. How the card was made... I trimmed a panel of blue card (from Papercharm) 95x135mm and a smaller one in white (90x130mm) so that they fitted a C6 tent fold card from the Paper Boutique range by Creative Crafting World. Using some of Altenew's dye based ink pads (blues, oranges, red and yellows), I tried to create sky - I masked of the bottom part of the card as I was going to add some "grass" to it but changed my mind and just kept it totally "sunrise" like. I then used one of Sweet Dixie's flower collection and stamped the dandelion and solid flowers using Onyx Black Versafine on either side of the panel. I left...

You brighten up my day - Mice and sunflowers c6 Kraft card -  Day 50 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Wow! it is day 50 of my challenge already and for today's card, I have once again used this cute stamp set from the For The Love of Stamps range by Hunkydory. How I made this card:- I had the 2nd part of the tag shaped card left over from a previous card, so I decided to use it up for the topper. I first of all trimmed some white card to fit the front of a C6 Kraft card leaving a small border all around it and glued it on using a tape runner pen. I then stamped the large sunflower on the right hand side of the card using Black Onyx Versafine ink and then quickly used some clear embossing powder on top so that it stood out a bit more. I repeated the same thing with the smaller flower, stamping it twice either side of the stem. I coloured them in using Zig Clean Color pens, trying to blend the orange and red in with the yellow. Have a mice day - mice, flowers and butterflies shaped card -  Day 23 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I thought this was a fun card using various stamps from the For The Love of Stamps range from Hunkydory along with distress inks and alcohol markers. How I made this card:- I love these cute stamps from the Blooming Lovely range from Hunkydory's For the Love of Stamps and thought they would be ideal to use with this shaped card. Using some Distress inks from Ranger (Yellow, Orange and Red) I coloured the front of the card (putting a piece of scrap paper behind it so it protected the inside) - I used these colours as I thought they would be similar to those of the sunflower and let it dry. Whilst drying, I cut out a circle of stamping card using a Tattered Lace die (measuring it so I knew if fitted the centre of the card.
