It's Your Birthday.. Let's Celebrate... Children with kites in silhouette A6 card Hi Craft addicts! I had great fun making this card and I hope you like it too! How I made this card:- I first of all took a piece of white stamping card and cut it so that it fitted the front of an A6 white top fold card, leaving a very narrow border around it. I used Simon Hurley dye based ink pads along with a few Rare Earth Water Reactive inks to create the sunrise/set background. I started off with Buttermilk and Apricot Dream from Rare Earth and blended them in, then moved up to Slippery When Wet and Over the Moon from Simon Hurley again blending them all in. I then used an oval mask to cover the centre top part of the card and coloured it with Traffic Cone (Simon Hurley) and Raspberry Fizz (from Rare Earth) leaving a moon/sun effect when I took it away. Flying kites to make you smile C6 white card -  Day 127 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card has been made using Hunkydory products, Tim Holtz Distress inks and Altenew inks on a C6 white linen effect card. How I made this card:- I first of all coloured the edges of a C6 white linen effect card with blue ink (what was left once again on my sponge dauber). I then cut a piece of the blue and white striped paper (from Hunkydory's For the Love of Stamps Splendid Stripes 8" paper pad) to fit the card leaving a narrow border at the top and bottom and coloured the edges with a blue alcohol marker. I took some Rare Earth stamping card and coloured the background in using Green (Parrot and Bamboo Altenew Ink cubes from Altenew) and Blue for the sky (Tim Holtz distress inks and Altenew again). I used the Let us Fly a Kite stamp set from For the Love of Stamps and stamped the tree twice - using Green for the tree and Rusty Hinge Tim Holtz ink for ...
