You Make me smile...birds and flowers 7x5in black pearlescent card Hi Craft addicts! Well the internet is actually behaving itself (fingers crossed) so can post this today! I used Tim Holtz Distress Crayons (of course) to make the background and had fun using it to create this card - so if you want to find out how I made it, read on.... How I made this card:- To make the background, I used a 7" x 5" piece of transparent Yupo Paper from Tim Holtz and Ranger (it is synthetic paper but is recyclable - you can't tear it however and does need to be cut). I first of all used Spun Sugar Tim Holtz Distress Crayons to create some "squiggles" and blended them in using my finger. I then added some Picked Raspberry to give the flowers some detail and dimension. I did use a fine paintbrush to blend them all a bit more. Thinking of you today.. Church in silhouette on hand coloured background A6/A2 card Hi Craft addicts! Well today's card is one I have made using a Die for the main focal point on a background I created myself using Distress Oxides. How I made this card:- The base card is an A6 (A2 in the US) which can be got from all sorts of companies such as Hunkydory, Paper Boutique etc.... I used a pre cut A6 panel from Rare Earth and first of all used some Green Gossip inks coloured the hill at the bottom of the cardstock and left it to dry. Whilst that was happening, I cut out the Church silhouette (Serenity die set from Tattered Lace) in black card (Lynda Chapman's World of Paper) - I used both the main oval and the inside die together on a magnetic sheet so they didn't move... Once that was done, I stuck some yellow/gold card behind the windows to make it look as if there were lights on - I used a PVA glue as it grabs better than a wet one. I also used a Black alcoh...

Wish... Bird on branch silhouette on rainbow background 7x5in card Hi Craft addicts This was really great fun to make using dies and a rainbow background I created using Tim Holtz Distress Crayons. How I made this card:- I had created two backgrounds on some white card using the Rainbow coloured Distress Crayons - I added one colour at a time (in stages) and blended them in again one at a time. I then used a paintbrush and water to smooth the colours out. Whilst they were drying, I used the middle 2 dies from the Oceana Layering Die set from Tonic Studios and cut the background frame out. I really like this die as it is quite unusual. I also cut out the Birds on branches die (from Tattered Lace) in Black cardstock as I thought it would look great as a silhouette on the rainbow background. Girl on fairground horse in silhouette 6in square card -  Day 299 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts Today's card for day 299 of my 365 day challenge is another card using a Tattered Lace die on a hand coloured background..... How I made this card:- I coloured a piece of white stamping card using Dreamees Chalk Dinkie Inkies to create this landscape scene - I was really pleased with the way it turned out to be honest! I then cut it out using a large plain circle die from Tattered Lace. I then cut out the girl on a fairground horse in black card (again a Tattered Lace die) and stuck it to the painted background. I stamped the bottom of a cream linen effect 5in card with some reed stamps (from Stamps by Me) in Onyx Black Versafine ink and coloured them in using a pale green alcohol marker. With Love Balloon in flight silhouette A6 card -  Day 220 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Well today's card is mix of Tattered Lace dies, Kuretake Watercolours for the background and a stamped sentiment! How I made this card:- I took a piece of white linen card (the back of an old card) and attached the Art Deco Tattered Lace frame which I had cut out in black card using Midas Touch Sticky dots. I coloured inside the frame using various blue shades of Kuretake Watercolour paints trying to make it as atmospheric as possible! I let it dry overnight as I find using a heat gun makes it curl up too much. I then stuck it to the front of an A6 white linen effect card (so they matched) using a mix of finger lift tape and a wet glue. The balloon and the house are both Tattered Lace dies and I cut them out in black card. I added a tiny bit of yellow card to the back of the house where the windows are to look like lights. Thank You - moonlight scene behind window gatefold 6" card -  Day 185 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I really enjoyed making this card as it is simple to make but looks great! I have used mainly Hunkydory products but some stamps from Stamps by Me too. How I made this card:- I first of all removed all the panels from the windows in a white 6" gatefold card from Hunkydory. I then coloured the frames using a grey alcohol marker. I then added one of the sheets from the Twilight Forest paper pads (using Fingerlift tape as I didn't want any glue to show through it) to the inside of the card. I felt it needed something extra so I stamped the ship (from the Ahoy Matey collection) a few times (some 2nd generation too) on the water and a couple of the birds from one of Toni Darroch's Stamps by Me sets - I used Versafine Onyx Black ink for all of them.
