Dream Big.. Flowers on rainbow background - emboss resist 7x5in card - Day 206 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I really love the effect of stamping an image with Versamagic and then heat set it with a coloured (in this case white) and then colouring over it.... here is how I made this card.. How I made this card:- I took a piece of card and trimmed it so it measured 90x140mm (approx) and rubbed my anti-static bag over it to remove any "debris" and then stamped the flower design on to it using Versamagic ink (you can also use Rare Earth's Clear Glass ink or any other sticky ink). I then covered it with True White Cosmic Shimmer Embossing Powder, removed the excess and then heat set it using my heat gun. With Love - purple dove on multicoloured background DL card -  Day 196 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Hope you are all still surviving this heat - must admit it is too much for me so thought I would have a break over the weekend - though I did still do 2 projects which I have put on Instagram and Facebook... Here is the card I did today.... How I made this card:- I cut out the bird on my Brother Scan n Cut using an image from the web using white card and then coloured it in purple using Brea Reese watercolour inks and a water brush. I diluted parts of the bird using more water and dabbed it dry with some kitchen roll. Whilst it was drying, I then cut out various strips of paper from the Creativ Neon self adhesive collection and also the Rainbow paper pack from them too. A flower does not think....just bloom hand coloured C6 card - Day 176 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I am really enjoying the effect stamping with an embossing ink, using white embossing powder and then colouring makes and this is one that I made last night. How I made this card:- I first of all decided that I would not have a panel on the front of the card and stamp directly on to it. I therefore used Rare Earth Clear Glass Speciality Embossing Powder to stamp the "If flowers... bloom" large sentiment on to it and covered it with True White Cosmic Shimmer Embossing Powder, removed the excess and embossed it with my heat gun. Once it was cool and I had made sure all of it had been embossed, I coloured over it using a variety of dye based inks - from Altenew (Greens, Reds, Orange and Yellow) and Tim Holtz's Mowed Lawn blending them all into each other so that it looked seamless. It's Kind of fun to do the impossible + rainbow background C6 card Day 159 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Well it is nearly the weekend and the sun is shining! I have made this card which I think turned out quite well! How I made this card:- I first of all started with the background and this was coloured using Tim Holtz Distress Inks - orange, yellow, green, purple and blue (blending each as I went along).  I let it dry for a bit and then stamped the large image (from Rare Earth) on top using Onyx Black Versafine ink and then whilst it was still dry added some Clear Embossing powder and heat set it. I am still playing with using water to "bleach" parts of the image and I used a water brush (with no water in) to add a touch of water to the flowers, dabbing the excess away with some kitchen towel.
