Hi Craft addicts! Today's latest handmade card is a Christmas card for my 365 day challenge...I hope you like it. Using my Hunkydory Adorable Scoreboard, I scored two lines down the left hand side and 6 lines at the bottom of the card to add some interest to the card as I wanted this card to be predominately white. I had used a scalloped edge die to cut out the circle and then used the waste of a smaller circle die cut to ink through it using yellows and orange hybrid inks to create the sun. I then used Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks to colour the sky in and then edged it with a black alcohol marker. The Snowman and Goose along with the sentiment are from For the Love of Stamps and Crafter's Companion Gemini stamp collections and I stamped them on to some scraps of white card using Gina K Obsidian Black ink and then coloured them in using Spectrum Noir Triblender markers.   Hi Craft addicts! Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge is this Thank you card which has an Autumnal feel to it.       I used a landscape 7" x 5" white card from the Paper Boutique range from Creative Crafting World and rounded the corners with a Hunkydory Prism punch. The tartan pattern is from the Autumn Blessings collection paper pad and I stuck it to the card front with a tape pen making sure that the flowers were on the edge and then trimmed it to fit. (It is just under half way across). I added some narrow red liner tape, removed the backing sheet and placed some black foil on top of it and burnished so it added a border to the patterned paper. I used the Skeleton leaves die set from the same collection and cut 2 sets of them out from card that I had coloured using Aladine Izink ink sprays.  I used a dotty tape pen to add them in a random way on the right hand side.   Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card is one that could be sent to a friend you haven't seen for some time! I stamped the flower spray (from the Sending Smiles die and stamp collection from Stamps by Me) on to some white stamping card using Gina K Obsidian Black ink. I then  rounded the corners using my Prism punch from Hunkydory. I also stamped the Lovely Friend sentiment at the same time on to some white card. To colour the flowers in, I used Spectrum Noir Triblender markers (red, pink, purple and green). I used a black 7x5in card and made it a top fold card and rounded the corners using the Hunkydory Punch and then stuck the image to the middle of the card using a tape pen as I didn't want the glue to show through. I then coloured the Lovely Friend sentiment with a matching alcohol marker and attached it to the bottom of the card with some foam pads to give it some height. Hi Craft addicts! Well today's card is something different for me - I am trying to do various card shapes and this was one of the results! I first of all took a 7" x 5" black pearlescent card (they used to be sold by Create & Craft but am not sure they do them now) and rounded the corners using a Hunkydory punch. I then scored the top and bottom of the card using my Hunkydory scoreboard several times. I cut out the Smile frame from Stamps by Me using Lynda Chapman's Black card having first added some Wild Spider Self adhesive sheet to the reverse and placed it on a sheet of bright yellow Adorable Scorable card again from Hunkydory. I then cut out the Unicorn Geometric outline die from Thirsty Brush in the same card (again with sticky roll on the reverse) and placed it in the centre of the card which I used as a tent fold card instead so it is now similar to an easel card but isn't if you know what I mean? Merry Christmas Santa, Sleigh and winter magical scene  square card Hi Craft addicts! I like using a variety of Companies when making my projects and this card is no exception! How I made this project:- This is a 6in white square card (which are available from a variety of Companies such as Hunkydory, Creative Crafting World and so on) and 1 sheet of 6in paper from Hunkydory's Once Upon a Twilight Magical Christmas which I stuck to the front of it using PVA glue. I then cut out the houses, Santa's Sleigh and reindeer out in Black card (I used Lynda Chapman's World of Paper) and glued them to the card again using PVA glue. I decided I wanted the sleigh to cover the moon as it gives a bit more interest. I used some white card to cut out the Merry Christmas die and attached it to the bottom left hand corner of the card. Santa and Reindeer and town in silhouette with mini Calendar  Hi Craft addicts! I had great fun making these and all from one piece of Hunkydory's Adorable Scorable card.... How I made this project:- To make the card, I used the green spotty embossed A4 Adorable Scorable cardstock from Hunkydory and cut it in half. I then scored one part of it down the middle using a scoreboard to create an A6 card. I cut out the Santa in sled (with Reindeer of course) and the town scene in Black card and attached them both to the cardstock with PVA - you need to make sure they are secure as the bobbles means the grab isn't immediate (if that makes sense). I used the 2nd part of the cardstock and trimmed it down so a Mini-calendar fitted into it, scored it down the middle and attached the calendar with PVA glue inside. Happy Birthday - owl on starry background A6 white linen card  Hi Craft addicts! Today's quick and easy card (well it is the weekend after all) is one I made using some inks, stamps and an Owl topper from Hunkdyory.. How I made this card:- I have had this owl topper (from Hunkydory's Stylish Silhouettes series) for some time and finally found a way to use it. I first of all cut out the rectangle background using Tattered Lace Lacy pin dot die (approx 2.5" x 2") with some white card. I took it out of the die and coloured it in using Salty Ocean, Broken China and Seedless Preserves Tim Holtz Distress Inks along with some Gina K Obsidian Amalgam ink at the top blending them in to create a sky scene.  Using Moonlight White Brilliance Archival ink, I "smooshed" it on to a Craft mat and spritzed some water on it, and with a paintbrush splattered some on to the topper and left it to dry. Just Because... green and white themed flower 6" square card. Hi Craft addicts! Today's latest handmade card is a very quick and easy one to make but looks very stylish (well I think so anyway!)... Hunkydory have such great products and this is just one of them... How I made this card:- The base card is a 6" square one which can be got from all sorts of companies such as Hunkydory, Paper Boutique etc.... The main image is a preprinted one from Hunkydory's Prism Colouring pads Volume 2.. there are several of each design so you can easily decoupage them - I have an idea as to what I might do next so watch this space! I decided that I wanted it to be just one colour and white, so coloured all the leaves in using Hunkydory's Prism Green alcohol markers - adding the lightest one first, then the darker one and then blending them together. Let's Celebrate... Butterfly on tree bark background A6 card Hi Craft addicts! I really enjoyed making this card as it combines backgrounds I have created myself using Alcohol inks or Tim Holtz Distress Crayons with stamps and dies... How I made this card- I had coloured a piece of card using bright coloured Alcohol inks (or watercolours) and decided that I would use it to make one of the Butterflies in the Butterfly Embellishment Die set from The Paper Boutique (Creative Crafting World) and so cut out the body/wings in it and then the Antennae and mat layer in black card and stuck them together using PVA Glue. I then added some Versamark sticky ink to it and heat embossed it with Clear embossing powder to give it both a sheen and more stability. I had also coloured a piece of white card with brown shades of Tim Holtz Distress Crayons and thought that if I stamped the tree rings/bark image (from the Back to Nature Backgrounds For The Love of Stamps set) over it ...
