Art deco lady hand coloured shaped card - Love and Family -  Day 70 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card for day 70 of my 365 day challenge, is this hand coloured Art Deco lady on a shaped card. I love the blue backing paper - think the colour is brilliant (but hasn't been shown in its' best light in this photo....) How I made this card:- I first of all trimmed a piece of blue paper (from Hunkydory's Rainbow Radiance 6" x 6" pad) to fit (with a border) on this shaped white card. I found the floral Happy Birthday insert recently but have no idea who it is from unfortunately and cut a strip approximately 2" wide. I placed it on the blue layer and made sure that the flowers were on either side equally and taped it on the back and stuck the whole thing on to the front of the card. Hello - Art Deco lady with New York skyline 6in square card -  Day 182 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Mojo is lacking slightly today but wanted to keep my challenge going so have made this quick 6" card using one of the Hunkydory " Art Deco " toppers. I really love these bright and fun images that they brought out some time ago - there are all sorts of themes from cooking to space! I first of all took the 6" square card and scored the inside of the front part about 1.5" from the edge a few times using my Tattered Lace mini score board . I then used some of the " purple" PO1 Generation INX ink pad and coloured the edges just to take the whiteness of the card. I then stuck the "Hello" sentiment (which I had cut out using my "Brother Scan n Cut" on the left hand side (I had thought of putting it on the other one but decided to make it slightly different) and then added the main "Art Deco"...

Art Deco/30's couple on 6" square card -  Day 177 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is a nod to the Art Deco/1930's as the topper is really bright and cheerful. I have had it some time so am not really sure where it came from but still.... The card itself is very simple to make - I first of all used the "Best Wishes" line sentiment from Clarity stamps using a black Versafine ink pad and added it to all four sides having made sure that the topper fits within them. I then added some foam pads to the topper and placed it in the middle of the card. I then added some "Caribbean Ocean" Gloss Nuvo crystal drops. I have left the inside blank so it can be added to at a latest stage. 1920's lady hand coloured Kraft party bag - Day 119 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft Addicts! Day 119 of my challenge and for today have made something slightly different - this time I have decorated a Kraft bag to make a Party bag ... I first of all printed off the image of the Art Deco 1920's lady (I had decided on tall I would like it to be before doing so using Serif's Craft Artist Professional 2 ). I then coloured her in using Spectrum Noir pens - there is still so much to learn about colouring! I used CR4 , CR5 along with brown for her hair and a lilac one for the hemline and shoes.  Once it was dry, I placed it on to some bright pink mirror card leaving a small border around it.  I then glued it to one side of the Kraft bag (which measures 27x17cm approximately) in the middle of the handles. I added a flower (a pre made small pink one from Hobby House ) using my hot glue gun to a die-cut flower shape in black card and attached it to the top ...

Hi Craft addicts! As Father's Day approaches, I thought my next project would be making some cards and perhaps gifts for that special dad out there - I also think you can use them for other occasions by just changing the sentiment. It has been a consistent complaint that there are not that many male themed toppers/ideas out there so thought I would use the following ones that I have found: Hunkydory have produced some sport themed toppers so have used both a football and golf one for the first two cards and also an Art Deco themed one which I really like but now am not sure if it is suitable for a Father's Day card but anyway it can be used for any occasion as I haven't yet put a sentiment on it... I still can't work out why the photo turns out pinky - it is definitely a 300gsm white square card...
