Someone special.. Valentine's Day card Hi Craft addicts! Well the sun is shining which makes a change and so have made this slightly different Valentine's Day card using some older and new dies.... How I made this card:- I had cut out the Someone Special Heart (it is an old Tonic Studios die) ages ago and thought I really need to use it up (like the last card I made). I had cut it out in red card but needed it to have mat layer so I glued it to some pale pink card (which matches one of the abstract Hearts) and cut around it. I have recently got the Plaids, Spots and Stripes card from Paper Dienamics and I used one of the blue patterned pieces and used Broken China Distress inks from Tim Holtz to ink the edge. I then attached it to some darker blue plain card and cut around it leaving a very narrow border. Be Mine heart card  Hi Craft addicts! I hope you all had a good weekend!  Today's card is one that could be used for Valentine's Day and is really easy to make... How I made this card:- I had cut out the Be Mine Heart (it is an old Tonic Studios die) ages ago and thought I really need to use it up... I love Tartan patterns and the pad that Craftstyle produced some time ago has a wide variety of colours and I used one of the Green shades to use as the background which is slightly smaller than the A6 white card I am using. I stuck the tartan panel on to the front of the card using Pinflair's Glue it Bookbinding glue, leaving a narrow border around it. I then cut out a frame (using 2 different rectangle nesting dies) in Black card and a smaller panel out in Silver/Holographic Mirri card (from Hunkydory) and stuck the frame to the top of the Silver card using the Pinflair glue. Love and Kisses Butterfly on heart card Hi Craft addicts! The weekend has come around so quickly hasn't it? I made this card a few weeks ago and was really pleased with how it turned out so decided to share it on here! How I made this card:- I used a scalloped edged heart nested die (there are quite a few Companies that now produce them) and cut it out in Black card. I then cut out the Butterfly die (I think it is a Tattered Lace one) in White card and stuck it to the front of the heart with some Pinflair Glue it Bookbinding glue. I also used the square panel die from Tattered Lace's Antique Lace 3D Decoupage collection to cut it out in White card. Once I had taken out all the waste bits, I then edged it with some Blue ink (any will do but I think it is from Altenew this time). I also edged all sides of a 6" square card so that it matched. Love Valentine's Day DL Kraft card -  Day 40 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's challenge (day 40 of my 365 day challenge) is a DL Kraft card decorated with heart papers from Hunkydory - very simple to make but lovely to look at... How I made this card:- I first of all cut two panels (slightly smaller than the DL card) of the Heart paper (Monochrome Perfect Stamping paper pad from Hunkydory) - this is one sheet of paper as it is double sided) so cut the darker panel and then the smaller one out of the lighter side. I used some alcohol markers to highlight some of the hearts to add a bit of colour to the monochrome effect (red, yellow and orange). I then stuck the smaller one on top of the larger one and glued that to the centre of the DL Kraft card. I also cut out the LOVE sentiment (from Tonic Studios) twice, once in white card, the other in red and slightly offset that one on top of the white one. I then glued it to the right hand bot...

Love and hearts square card -- black, white and red theme -  Day 18 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I am really pleased with this card as the main panel (the black flowery one) came about as a die cut that didn't quite cut out right! How I made this card:- I had cut out this main black panel using the Thank You panel from the latest Paper Boutique's range from Creative Crafting World but I hadn't cut it out properly and some of the flowers were still in the card. I didn't want to waste it, so I trimmed it so that the top part had one extra flower on either side and then cut the bottom so that it was just the same size as the inside panel. I then glued it to some white hammered card using the Glue-it Glue from Pinflair and let it dry. Whilst it was drying, I went into CANVAS (Brother Scan and Cut online web app) and cut out the red heart which is part of the stamping designs. Trio of hearts LOVE wall hanging -  day 12 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's challenge (day 12) is this wall hanging that I have made using "cartonnage" hearts, Screen Sensations stamps and inks. How I made this project:- I have had these hearts for some time and thought I better use them - they are chipboard/cartonnage and so I painted them all with several coats of White Gesso I let them all dry and then worked out the best way to display them and so used the flowers and leaves stamps from Screen Sensations and placed them at each end of the smaller ones and at the top and bottom of the larger one.  I used several shades of blue - the Altenew ones are really beautiful and so I added a couple of them to the stamp at one time to give them an ombre effect. I then added the L O V E letters to each of them (the O & V on the larger heart) again using shades of blue and purple to give the same effect. I then glued them all together -...

Unicorn with flowers LOVE wall hanging plaque -  Day 8 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's challenge is a wall hanging that could be used in any room and would make a lovely gift for someone.  How I made this project:- I had this wall hanging chipboard plaque 20x13cm (I think from the Hobby House) and first of all painted it in white gesso and gave it a couple of coats on both sides. I used a heat gun to dry one side and then painted the other. I then used one of the leaves stamps from the Screen Sensations collection and stamped them on either side of the plaque using Altenew inks ad they are a really lovely colour. Once they were dry, I then added the flowers on top of them again using an Altenew stamp as it is such a rich colour. Whilst they were drying,I cut out the latest Unicorn die from Tattered Lace in the turquoise (teal) DoCrafts self adhesive paper and attached it to the middle of the plaque in between the holes - making ...

With Love with ornate heart red, white and cream square card -  Day 5 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card could be for Valentine's Day or just to someone close to you - again it is simple to make but have also used my Scan n Cut to make one of the background layers. How I made this card:- I have used a pre-cut 5" red card and added a cream insert inside before adding anything to the front. I then cut out the bottom layer in cream linen effect cardstock using a Tattered Lace die I then went into my Canvas account (the online design app with my Brother Scan n Cut) and designed the wavy frame and cut it out in red cardstock. I cut the scalloped heart out in vellum using a Tattered Lace die and then did the same with the main topper (the frame in white and background in red) and attached them together.
