Sending lots of love... Badger A6 card - 365 day challenge

Image
Hi Craft addicts!       Today's latest handmade card is a simple but effective A6 card using stamps and dies.... I cut out a piece of white stamping card and stamped the Sweet Dixie Badger image on to it using Gina K Obsidian Black ink. I used a mix of Stabilo FSC colouring pencils and alcohol markers to colour the animal and foliage in. For the grass and sky, I placed some Blue and Green Distress Oxide inks on to a glass mat, spritzed some water on them and used the inks as a paint. I then cut out a panel using the Petit Picot Rectangle die (middle size one) from Paper Dienmamics Metallink card stock and then trimmed the stamped image to fit inside it. I also edged the panel with a black alcohol marker. I had made the card myself using a Lisa Horton Rectangle stitched die.  I cut two pieces out, scored the back one about 3/4" down from the top, added some red liner tape, removed the backing and stuck it to the card. I then made sure the two pieces of card lined up p...

Made for you with Love Hedgehog card - 365 day challenge

Hi Craft addicts!       Today's latest handmade card for my 365 day challenge is a fun one using stamps and stencils and NO dies! I took some non scored cardstock from Red Button and scored it at 3" using my Hunkydory Adorable Scoreboard. I then rounded the corners using their punch from their Prism range and then folded it so that it was a slightly different shape. I used one of Honey Doo Crafts stencils (Forest style) and placed it on the front of the card (putting a piece of paper behind it so it didn't colour the inside of the card and coloured it using Neon Green Creative Expressions polishes. When I was happy with that, I then repeated the process on the right hand side of the inner part of the card. The Hedgehog is a stamp from the Squirrel and Hedehog set from Sweet Dixie's animal range and I stamped it on to some white stamping card using Gina K Obsidian Black ink. I must admit I used a stamping platform as it did need stamping a couple of times and couldn...

Whiffy the Kingfisher (Pollyanna Pickering) square card -  day 287 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card for my 366 day challenge, is one made from a topper from the "British Wildlife" collection from Pollyanna Pickering ( from Creative Crafting World), some backing paper and some Nuvo drops.... To make the card:- I took the topper and added it to some white cardstock so that there was a narrow border around it. I then cut out the "blue and white spotty" paper (from the "Bohemian Dream" 8" paper pad from Craftwork Cards) using the largest of the Tonic Studios "Threaded Scallop layering square dies. I used some "fingerlift tape" to attach it to the card (which is a 6" square card from Hunkydory) as it is easier to use than glue on the paper. I attached the main topper at a jaunty angle using Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue towards the top left hand side of the card. I then took the Sue Wilson (Cre...
