Made for you with Love Hedgehog card - 365 day challenge
Hi Craft addicts!
Today's latest handmade card for my 365 day challenge is a fun one using stamps and stencils and NO dies!
- I took some non scored cardstock from Red Button and scored it at 3" using my Hunkydory Adorable Scoreboard.
- I then rounded the corners using their punch from their Prism range and then folded it so that it was a slightly different shape.
- I used one of Honey Doo Crafts stencils (Forest style) and placed it on the front of the card (putting a piece of paper behind it so it didn't colour the inside of the card and coloured it using Neon Green Creative Expressions polishes.
- When I was happy with that, I then repeated the process on the right hand side of the inner part of the card.
- The Hedgehog is a stamp from the Squirrel and Hedehog set from Sweet Dixie's animal range and I stamped it on to some white stamping card using Gina K Obsidian Black ink. I must admit I used a stamping platform as it did need stamping a couple of times and couldn't have done it without one.
- I coloured it in using various Spectrum Noir Alcohol Tri-blend markers (greens, blues and browns).
- I cut around it with scissors, giving it a wavy edge and then attached it to some of Lynda Chapman's Black card as I didn't want the bleeding ink to show through.
- I cut around the whole thing and then attached it to the left hand part of the card using PVA glue.
- I then stamped out the Made for You with love sentiment (from Woodware Stamps) on to some black card with some VersaMark ink and then covered it with some True White embossing powder and heat set it. I also stuck it to some more black card and stuck that to the bottom of the card, making sure that the glue was not on the part of the sentiment that hung over the card.
- Finally I added 3 enamel dots on each half of the card (they are from Dotty Designs and are self adhesive).
