Hi Craft addicts!       As it is now officially Autumn, I have created a series of cards using the Autumn Blessings collection from Crafter's Companion along with various other products to complete them for my 365 day challenge! The first one is this Congratulations card... I first of all used a variety of Aladine Izink sprays and spritzed a yellow piece of card (from Tattered Lace) to create an Autumn feel background. Once it was dry, I trimmed it to fit the Autumnal Foliage 3D embossing folder, placed it inside and put it through my Big Shot foldaway cutting machine. I then edged it with a black alcohol marker. For the main topper, I took a tag from Hunkydory's Prism range and using some of their Washi tape to mask the centre, coloured both sides of the tag with Yellow and Orange inks (Hybrid inks) and left it to dry before taking the tape away. Hi Craft addicts!       Today's latest handmade card for my 365 day challenge is this Congratulations stamp and some patterned paper. I must admit i can't remember who produced this patterned paper but think it is Paper Boutique from Creative Crafting World.. I rounded the corners of a 5" white square card and thought I would use it as a tent fold (that is with the fold at the top). I then cut out a piece of this foliage patterned paper so that there was a narrow border left when I placed it on the front of the card. Instead of adding a layer of black card behind it, I edged it with a Black alcohol marker and stuck it on using a tape runner pen - so many companies now do them or you could used  a light layer of PVA glue. I then cut a narrow panel (about 2") of the same paper so that it fitted the card and then stuck it to a slightly wider panel of Lynda Chapman's Black cardstock and stuck that to the card slightly left of the card front.   Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge is this fun card inspired by a video I saw from Gina K Designs on You Tube... I took a piece of white card and added the squares to it directly using a variety of ink pads from Aladine's Izinks - not being too worried that some of them were quite juicy and added a bit more colour in the corner. I left it to dry and then placed it on to a stamping platform and taped it down. I placed the three different stamps (Congratulations stamp set from Stamps by Me) on to the design, picked them up and inked them with Gina K Obsidian Black ink and pressed down. I did this a couple of times as I wanted the silhouettes to really stand out. I cut the panel to about 3x5in and rounded the corners with a Hunkdory punch and then stuck it to some of Lynda Chapman's Black card, trimmed it and then rounded those corners too.   Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge is one you could send to someone who has passed their exams or driving test and so on. I used the smallest of the Ornate tags dies from Carnation Crafts and cut the mat layer out in white card and then the main layer out in black card.  I attached the two together using a dotty tape pen as the glue only sticks to the card and not the empty spaces! I can't remember who produced the champagne glasses but I had cut them out in white card and thought I would use them and so stuck them to the bottom of the tag with a solid tape pen. I had also cut out the flower shape (from Lisa Horton) but thought it would look good on this card so stuck it to the top of the card, this time with PVA glue in the centre only. Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge is a Congratulations card using stamps and alcohol markers.... I took the Scented Blooms stamp from a Jane Gill collection in the Woodware range from Creative Expressions and stamped it on to some white card using Gina K Obsidian Black ink as it is a hybrid ink and can be used for both watercolours and alcohol inks. I then used Spectrum Noir pastel alcohol markers to colour the flowers in - I decided to use pink, yellow and lilac colours as I wanted it to look a bit Spring like.  Once I was happy with them, I then coloured the leaves in with a couple of Green Tri-blender markers again from Spectrum Noir and fussy cut around the whole image. For the background I used various watercolour inks and also Cosmic Shimmer Neon Green polish along with adding some a Green/gold Glimmer pen from Ink Lily to the darker part of it and let it dry.   Hi Craft addicts!       I really love the stained glass effect dies that various companies produce and this Kingfisher one is no different!  I took a 7" x 5" white card and rounded the corners with my Prism punch as I really like the softer edges. I used Lynda Chapman's Black card and placed it on some self adhesive paper and cut the Kingfisher die out and removed the backing sheet and stuck it to some white card. I then used a mix of Blues, Oranges and Green Spectrum Noir Triblend markers to colour it in. I also rounded the corners of that too with my punch. I used Gina K and Harmony ink with the Dragonfly stamps (from Stamps by Me Sunshine range) and stamped them around the edges of the card, making sure that the main topper fitted inside them. I then used some foam pads to add it to the centre of the card. Hi Craft addicts! I think this is a really fun card (it is a white card honest!) using a Hedgehog stamp and some Nesting dies... I cut out the nesting dies using the larger one for the Purple card and a smaller one for the white card and glued them together using PVA glue. I then used Potters Clay Memento ink to stamp the Hedgehog image on to the middle of the white card - the Hedgehog is part of the Animal collection from Sweet Dixie and is really great to stamp with. I didn't bother to colour it in as I thought it looked great as it is. I then used Gina K Obsidian Black ink to stamp the Well Done sentiment from the same set in each corner. Finally, I added some black Nuvo drops to opposite corners. Congratulations - daffodils tag z fold card Hi Craft addicts! I am so glad to be back on here - it has been a few weeks since I wrote about my cardmaking as I haven't been able to do much - life and flu definitely got in the way!! Anyway, I hope you like this card and enjoy reading how I made it.... How I made this card:- I had some very old candy striped cards from Craftwork Cards and decided to cut them up to make panels for various projects. This one is the pastel one and I cut the front panel into two (measuring approximately 2" x 4" and edged them both with a black alcohol marker. I then took a 5" white card and folded the front in half back on itself so it created a Z fold effect. Using Pinflair Bookbinding glue, I attached both panels to the front and inside of the card. New Baby silhouette of Tigger on hand coloured background card Hi Craft addicts! I made this card to give to someone who had just had a baby and what can be better than excitable Tigger on a hand coloured background with stamps from Bert n Gert and dies from Tattered Lace. How I made this card:- To make the background, I first of all cut out the Tree in silhouette die (from Tattered Lace) in black card. I then used some white stamping card (or you could use watercolour card if you want a more textured effect) and painted it with orange, yellow, pink and red paints, blending them in to create a sunset. Once it was dry, I placed the tree silhouette over it, stuck it on using PVA glue and trimmed it to fit (I also edged it with black so you couldn't see any white card). I then die cut out the Tigger figure out in an orange card, and then placed it on some black so you can see the stripes through it.  I also used some alcohol markers to create shading on him.
