Laughing Dolphins - trio of DL landscape card -  Day 309 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I really love this Laughing Dolphin die from Sweet Dixie so had great fun making these 3 cards.... How I made these cards:- I first of all cut out 9 Laughing Turtles (from Sweet Dixie) using tan and green card (American Crafts or Core-dinations as I wanted them to have a bit of texture) using my Baby Blue. For card 1 (Yay!.... treat yourself), I cut out a strip of green card and then a smaller strip of vellum and placed the latter over the green, attached it at the back and then stuck it with PVA glue to the centre of a DL Card. I used Midas Touch Sticky Dots to stick 3 tan turtles to the card in various poses (wanted to make them look as if they were having fun). I then stamped the sentiment at the top and bottom of the card using red ink. Finally, I added 3 pink self adhesive gems on opposite corners of the card. For card 2 (Happy Birthday), I cut a strip of a sli...

Sending happy thoughts Trio of laughing dolphins dl card -  Day 279 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is a fun one I think, using a Sweet Dixie die, Stamps from both Lawn Fawn and Craftwork Cards along with some Mirri card.... How I made this card:- I cut out 3 dolphins in grey card (Core-dinations) as I wanted them to have a textured feel to them. I then cut out a strip of blue, red and grey tartan paper (from Craftstyle) and stuck it to the middle of a white DL card (using it as a tent fold style). I also cut out a slightly narrower strip of blue Mirri card (from Hunkydory) and glued that to the tartan one. I then attached the dolphins at various angles to it using a mix of PVA glue and some foam pads on their flippers! I stamped out the fish (must admit they are upside down) using Dinkie Inkies from Dreamees and the Sending Happy Thoughts from Lawn Fawn also using Dinkie Inkies - not sure the colours as they don't have them on the cub...

Thinking of You or Easter handcoloured C6 card -  Day 65 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! For today's project for my challenge, I have made this simple but stylish card that could be used for Easter which is coming up or just to say you were thinking of someone. How I made this card:- I used a tent fold C6 white card and trimmed a piece of this beautiful blue Core-dinations 12" card stock to fit it (leaving a narrow white border around it. I then cut a strip of parchment/vellum (approx 2") and wrapped it around the panel using tape at the back to attach it. I had cut the layer out of white card, using a Spellbinders Die (I wish now i hadn't got rid of it) and keeping the card in it, used Altenew and Distress inks to colour it leaving a white space in the middle of it. I really like the way there is a slight blue tinge to the card where the die holes were.... I also cut out the cross in white card (I think it is a Tattered Lace one but could b...
