Have a Tweet Christmas Robins and snowflakes on tartan card Hi Craft addicts! I hope you had a great weekend! Here is a fun card I made using stamps... How I made this project:- This is a C6 white linen effect card which I bought ages ago from Craft Creations but you can of course use any type of base card! I cut a panel of this red tartan paper (from Hunkydory's 8" paper pad collection) to fit the front of the card leaving a border all around it and attached it using PVA glue. I then used a stamping platform (again there are so many brands around - from Stamps by Me Eureka 101 to Rare Earth's Load n Fold.  I arranged the two Robins stamps opposite each other (from a Woodward collection), the two Holly leaves and then the Have a tweet Christmas sentiment and stamped them all on to some white stamping card (This is Hunkydory's Ink Me) using Gina K's Black Amalgam ink. I coloured the Robins in using two shades of Brown alcohol markers (from H...

Make a Wish This Christmas (Robin on branch) card -  Day 347 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! This is a really quick and easy card that I made last night - I have had various Pro marker alcohol pens for ages and wanted to see if they had dried out - but even though I bought them at least 6 or 7 years ago, most of them worked brilliantly! I then used a selection of brown shades of Pro Marker pens to colour in the Robin - the way the stamp has been produced makes it easier to see where the shading should go. I then coloured in its' breast and berries in red, two shades of green for the holly and the brown again for the twigs and branches. Once I was happy with the shading, I then used some Cornflower blue Rare Earth Reaction ink (what was left on my dauber) to add some colour to the surrounding areas. I then...

Christmas Robins Christmas cards - 2 cards for 1 -  Day 323 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's challenge (day 323) is 2 for the "price" of one - Robins with 2 different sentiments that are quick and easy to make... How I made these cards:- Both cards have been made using the Christmas Robin mat and layer die set from Paper Boutique and I cut both of them out of 2 shades of brown card and then the breast part in red. I added the bodies of the Robins first of all to the mat making sure that the feet etc were in the right place. Once I was happy with them, I then added the red breasts using PVA glue. I used a White Gel pen to add a dot in their eyes and also a bit to the front of the breast to give it some dimension. I decided that I wanted them both to have a green and white theme, so cut the striped/spotty backgrounds (on the left), using a Tattered Lace die for the top layer and edged it with a dark green alcohol marker.  I then added t...
