Hi Craft addicts! Today's latest project is slightly different as it is a calendar for next year that I have made using a 7" x 5" landscape card,  dies and a stamp... I took a 7" x 5" white card (from Paper Boutique) - which was a landscape format but I scored the back side in the centre and folded it back and used PVA glue to stick it down to the front (if that makes sense!) I cut a small piece of scrap card and folded it to form a "W" and glued it inside the card so that it didn't collapse when you opened it. I then used a Spellbinders Petit Picot edged rectangle die and cut out the background using Paper Dienamics Metallinks card. I added the mini 2022 calendar to it using a Tape pen (you could use PVA glue but I like using the pen as it doesn't mark the card). Laugh... girl and flower Z fold card Hi Craft addicts! I had great fun making this card - I must admit I created lots of different shaped cards using the Tartan background paper and this is one of them.... How I made this card You need 2 5" white cards for this process, and you need to fold the front part of the card back on itself and cut it (to the depth you want the fold to be (this one is about 1.5") and reversed it. I then folded the front of the 1st card back on itself so that the fold was in the middle. I measured each panel (there are 5 in total - the two front pieces and 3 in the Z fold) and cut the tartan paper to fit them - it is an A4 pad so you can get all panels out of one sheet.  I then glued them all on to the relevant panels making sure there was a narrow border around all of them. Let's Go on an adventure - wizard and dragon on hand painted background card Hi Craft addicts! Once again I had a great time making this card - I had been trying out painting a background and as usual wondered what to do with it - then I got this idea! How I made this card:- I used Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolour paints to create the background- blues, yellows, reds, greens and black - once I was fairly happy with the result, I left it the panel (white stamping card but you could use watercolour card. I then stamped out the Wizard and Dragon (along with the sentiment Let's go on an Adventure) on to some white stamping card using Black Gina K Amalagam ink. These stamps are from the Dragon's Cove collection from Rare Earth. I used Spectrum Noir Tri-blenders to colour them in -  I wanted them to be slightly different than normal so used Green shades for the Wizard and then Purples for the Dragon. Thinking of You or Easter handcoloured C6 card -  Day 65 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! For today's project for my challenge, I have made this simple but stylish card that could be used for Easter which is coming up or just to say you were thinking of someone. How I made this card:- I used a tent fold C6 white card and trimmed a piece of this beautiful blue Core-dinations 12" card stock to fit it (leaving a narrow white border around it. I then cut a strip of parchment/vellum (approx 2") and wrapped it around the panel using tape at the back to attach it. I had cut the layer out of white card, using a Spellbinders Die (I wish now i hadn't got rid of it) and keeping the card in it, used Altenew and Distress inks to colour it leaving a white space in the middle of it. Congratulations - Floral themed black and white card -  Day 37 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I really enjoy trying to use black and white as a combination and I think this card shows this off perfectly! How I made this card:- This is an C6 Red Button black card and first of all added a white insert which I left blank so people can leave their message. I then cut out the white frame by using 2 sizes of Tattered Lace dies - the smaller one being a straight edged one and the larger of the two has a scalloped edge. I then glued it to the top of the front of the card using PVA glue. I cut out the Pink Peony Tattered Lace die using a sheet of purple self adhesive paper from DoCrafts XCut range. To make sure that the die-cut was secure, I ran it through my cutting machine again on some white cardstock (without the die) which made it stick perfectly. Be Mine Valentines Day C6 tentfold card -  day 3 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Now that Christmas and the New Year is over, I have started thinking about Valentine's Day and so this is the first card I have made - I think it could be sent to either male or female and could be in different colour/themes too! How I made this card:- I first of all took a C6 tentfold card and embossed both the top and bottom of the front using my Hunkydory Adorable Scoreboard (every 1/4"). I then coloured both using purple and blue pigment inks from DoCrafts (but any would do). I had already the frame cut out (I think it is a Tonic Die but it could be a Tattered Lace one) in black card and attached it to some pink/purple paper (from the Stylish Silhouettes Rainbow Radiance range from Hunkydory). I had also previously cut the Be Mine sentiment heart from an older set by Tonic Studios in cream card. I coloured the hearts in the die cut using a purple alcohol marker...

Hello Floral 7x5in card hand coloured  Hi all you craft addicts out there! So I hope you all had a brilliant Christmas and will have an even better New Year! I have decided to once again do one craft item a day challenge and will start with this very simple but stylish "Hello" 7" x 5" card. How I made this card.... The main focal point is one of the Synergy dies from Stamps by Me which cuts in the cardstock so I used a piece of black card approximately 9x13cm and cut the flowers out and then added it so some white card. I then coloured the flowers using Zig Clean Colour pens (yellows, oranges, pinks, purples and green shades) and a water brush to add some shading - you could use alcohol markers or pencils if you like! Once dry, I then edged the card using a purple alcohol marker and stuck it to the centre of a 7" x 5" card. Home Sweet Home - Magic Fairy toadstool shaped card Hi Craft addicts! It's been a few days since I have been on here - apologies for that but aim to rectify that! This card is a fun "New Home" card that I have made using mainly Hunkydory products from their shaped cards to their "For the love of stamps collection. How I made this card:- I used a pre-cut deckle edged off white square panel (from Craft Creations) and stamped the circle (from Rare Earth) in "Onyx Black" Versafine ink. I then stamped the "toadstool house" in the circle (again using Versafine) and then coloured it in using Zig Clean Color pens in red, orange, brown and yellow. Using Altenew inks (green shades) I then added the grass and leaves and shaded them using a waterbrush.
