Birthday lovelinesss..lighthouse in front of sunset... A6 white linen effect card Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is another I have made using stamps, Distress Crayons and dies... it is quick and easy to make too! How I made this card:- The base card I used is a white linen effect A6 card - I think these came from Craft Creations but any will do of course (I like the effect you get if stamping directly on to it). I first of all took a small piece of white card and stamped the Lighthouse (from Pretty Quick) on to it using Black Gina K Amalgam ink, I then coloured it in using red and cream alcohol inks from the Prism range from Hunkydory. Once I was happy with it, I cut around it as close as possible to the edge and then coloured that with a black alcohol ink, I then used a pre cut Oval panel in white card with the matching silver Mirri layer and coloured it in with stripes of Orange, Yellow and Pink Tim Holtz Distress Crayons (blending them in with my finger as I ...

Enjoy the Journey...hot air balloons and hand painted background A6 card Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is one I have made for "Watercolour Wednesday" - this time using stamps and a background created using Tim Holtz Distress Crayons... How I made this card:- I first of all used the back of an old A6 Deckle edged cream card as a background panel - as it has a linen effect, I thought it would create an interesting texture. I stuck the whole panel on to the front of an A6 White card using a PVA glue. I really like the Scenescape Icons stamp set from Pretty Quick so stamped the Hot Air Balloon out 3 times onto some white card using Gina K Amalgam ink. I...

Something beautiful is on the horizon....7" x 5"card -  Day 313 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I was wondering what to do with various die-cuts from Tattered Lace and this card suddenly sort of came together.... How I made this card:- There are two panels on this card - the one in white is a Spellbinders Nestabilities Card Creator Diamond Effect die cut (the largest one) which I coloured in blue and green using dye based inks whilst within the die so that it coloured the edge too. The second one is the Trellis Arch die from Tattered Lace which I cut out in black card. Using PVA glue, I stuck the white panel on to a slightly larger panel of green and white checked card and glued that on to some green Matt-tastic paper from Hunkydory and edged it with a black alcohol marker. I cut out the fawn, deer and pigeon again in black card and stuck them on to the white panel and once they were dry, I placed the black trellis over the whole thing and glued it...
