There is beauty....butterfly silhouette 7x5in card - 365 day challenge
Hi Craft addicts! Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge is a simple but striking one that turned out a lot better than I thought it would! I rounded the corners of a 7x5in white card (from Hunkydory) using one of their punches. For the background/topper, I took a piece of white card and blended a variety of Hybrid inks (I used Tim Holtz Distress Oxide, Nuvo Safari Green and Aladine Izinks ink pads) until I was happy with it and trimmed it to fit the Butterfly and flowers Embossing folder from Sizzix and ran it through my Big Shot. I decided to use the Butterfly for another project and so attached the background to some of Lynda Chapman's Black card and trimmed it to fit. I then used the largest die from Crafter's Companion Gemini Inner Scalloped rectangle set and cut it out in the same black card and used a Dotty tape pen to stick it to the main topper.
