Hi Craft addicts!       I really love the effect these paper cuts dies create and so I hope you will find it interesting in how I made it as it is very simple to make... I created the sunrise background using a variety of Hybrid inks from Tim Holtz and Simon Hurley from Ranger - yellows, oranges and red, blending them in until I was happy with the effect and left it to dry properly. I edged it with a black alcohol marker. I used the Owl Best Wishes Creative Expressions Paper Cut die and cut it out in Lynda Chapman's black card and attached it to the background with glue. I left the Best Wishes "waste" for another project. I then added it to a white A2 Card (from Tonic Studios) using PVA glue. And there you are a very quick and easy card to make that looks as if you are a lot cleverer than you are! Special Wishes... Bird out of cage card Hi Craft addicts! Well that was an interesting weekend - sun is out now but the wind is still a bit blowy! I had great fun making this card so I hope you will enjoy reading how i made it... How I made this card:- I decided to use up some of my old diecuts which I had cut out ages ago and this time I wanted to use this Birdcage topper from an old Tattered Lace set. I cut out a panel of black card (from Lynda Chapman's World of Paper) to fit the front of a 5" x 7" white card (leaving a border all around it) and used Pinflair's Glue-it Glue to attach it. I then cut a slightly smaller piece of a white and blue dotty paper (from Paper Die-namics) and stuck it to the black card. I also cut a piece of the contrasting blue and white dotty paper and attached it to a strip of the black card and stuck it to the centre of the main panel (looking at it now I see it is a bit wonky). Best Wishes Butterfly DL card Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is one i have made using a Butterfly die along with some gems from Hobby House. How I made this card:- I cut some of the Green Tartan paper (from Craftstyle's A4 paper pad) and trimmed it to fit a DL card (leaving a narrow border around it). I used a wet glue (Pinflair's Glue-it Bookbinding glue) to attach it to the front of the card. I had some strips of Silver Holographic card (from Hunkydory) left over and stuck one long strip to the left hand side and a shorter one towards the bottom of card. Cutting two Butterflies (one in the Silver Holographic and another in a pale pattern ( I think it is a Tattered Lace die), I glued them together and stuck it (at a slight angle) towards the top of the card using the Bookbinding glue again. Sending you Furry Good Wishes A6 card -  Day 311 of my 365 day challenge HI Craft addicts! Today's card for day 311 of my 365 day challenge is a fun general card which I have hand stamped and coloured using alcohol markers. How I made this card:- I stamped out the cat image (from Personal Impressions) on to some white card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink as I wanted to use alcohol markers. Once it was dry (which was almost immediate), I coloured the cat in using Prism (from Hunkydory) Browns series - 526 (Honey), 539 (Ginger) and 547 (Sepia) and then used Spectrum Noir Orange (CR10) and a Blue (TB3) for their apron and cupcake. I then cut around it leaving a narrow border all around. Using a PVA Glue, I then stuck it on to a pre cut deckle edge white panel (from Craft Creations) and then used a sponge dauber and the ink that was left on it from another project to colour around it. Best Wishes flowers and sentiment A5 landscape card -  Day 243 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I wasn't going to do a blog today for my challenge but I changed my mind so have made this quick and easy card.... How I made this card:- I marked off the centre panel of an A5 card, this time using it as a top fold (tentfold) one and lightly marked them with pencil. I then used some purple tape (low tack) to cover the centre of the card and then coloured the top and bottom of it using Green and Yellow Distress Oxide inks from Tim Holtz (Ranger) - see below for colours. Once I was happy with the blending, I removed the low tack tape and placed the BEST WISHES sentiment (from Toni Darroch's Stamps By Me Lamination stencil set) in the middle and coloured through it using the same inks, this time trying to give an ombre effect. I decided that it needed something else, so I used one of the flowers stamps from Thirsty Brush to add it either side (I turned it up...

Best Wishes flowers in silhouette DL card -  Day 68 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is one I made using some Tattered Lace and Creative Expressions dies, some black card and a DL envelope. This is for day 68 of my 365 day challenge. How I made this card:- I cut two rectangles out (one smaller than the other using the Torn Edges Rectangle dies from Tattered Lace) - the larger in black and the other in lilac. I then cut out the white panel using a Creative Expressions Striplet die (not sure which one). I attached the black one to the left hand side of a DL card and added the purple one on top in the middle. I then glued the white striplet panel on top of the whole of them. I then cut out the flower in black card using a Tattered Lace die and stuck that using PVA glue in the middle. Finally, I added the Best Wishes sentiment to the right hand side of the card lengthways.   And there you are  a quick and easy card to make. ...

Best Wishes space themed hand coloured C6 card -  Day 63 of my 365 Day Challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card (for day 65 of my 365 day challenge) is a quick and easy space themed one that I made using a mask from the For The Love of Masks range and stamps from For The Love of Stamps both from Hunkydory. How I made this card:- I needed to make a quick and simple card for today's challenge, so I first of all took a pre-cut A6 stamping card (from Craftwork Cards) and coloured the whole of it using Altenew Blue inks making the top half darker than the bottom. I then used a mask from For the Love of Stamps (Go Wild) and inked through the mountains with black Altenew ink (Pure Graphite) and again a bit lower down to give some dimension. Using the space ship stamp as a guide, I added some rays (from the Ballet mask) to the top left hand corner again with the blue ink from Altenew. Best Wishes Oriental Lady 7x5in card - new year, new challenge... Hi Craft addicts! First of all I hope you had a great Christmas and have a really happy New Year! Personally, I am amazed that I completed my 366 day challenge and am now working on my next one.. I aim to do as many challenges and blogs as possible but maybe not one a day :)  So, today's challenge is using a pre cut "Oriental Lady" silhouette topper (from Pinflair), some dye based inks on a 7" x 5" white card... How I made this card:- I cut out the "Oriental Lady" from the Pinflair Background Artist pack and coloured the background in "Blue" dye based inks placing a "circle" at the top of it as a mask. I also left some space towards the "mountain area" and then coloured that using some "Red and Orange" Generation INX pads trying to give a "cloud" effect. Once I was happy with it, I placed it onto a 7" x 5"...
