Special Wishes... Bird out of cage card
- I decided to use up some of my old diecuts which I had cut out ages ago and this time I wanted to use this Birdcage topper from an old Tattered Lace set.
- I cut out a panel of black card (from Lynda Chapman's World of Paper) to fit the front of a 5" x 7" white card (leaving a border all around it) and used Pinflair's Glue-it Glue to attach it.
- I then cut a slightly smaller piece of a white and blue dotty paper (from Paper Die-namics) and stuck it to the black card.
- I also cut a piece of the contrasting blue and white dotty paper and attached it to a strip of the black card and stuck it to the centre of the main panel (looking at it now I see it is a bit wonky).
- I then glued the bird cage in the middle of it (it is cut out of Silver Mirri card).
- I stuck the whole thing to the front of the card and finally attached a Special Wishes sentiment I had found (I think it is a Hunkydory one) using foam pads.
And there you are a quick and easy card that you could used for any occasion.
