Mum... A6 Mother's Day card
Mum... A6 Mother's Day card
Hi Craft addicts!I hope you all had a great weekend? Here is one card I made recently and I hope you like it!
How I made this card
- I cut out the Paper Cuts Lily of the Valley Edger die (from Creative Expressions) in blue card - I hadn't realised it was quite small but fits an A6 perfectly.
- I snipped both ends off and removed all the waste bits using a Pokey tool and then glued it to the right hand side of the card using Pinflair Glue-it Glue.
- I then cut a panel of Bright Blue card (both shades are part of a pack that Red Button produced some time ago on Create & Craft).
- I edged it with a darker Bright Blue alcohol marker and attached it to the left hand side of the card using the same glue.
- I had used the MUM dies (from Craft Buddy) before and these were the "waste" which I decided would go with this design (I must admit I don't usually like green and blue together but this seems to work).
- I cut a smaller panel of the dark Blue card so that it would leave a narrow border around the lighter one and stuck the letters to it once again using the Pinflair Glue-it Glue.
- Finally, I glued it to the main card and there you are...
One simple but stylish card that could be great for a Birthday or for Mother's Day.
