Just for you - girl in silhouette shaped pink card -  Day 84 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! So for today's blog, I have again used the toppers and cards from the " Shadows and Silhouettes " card making kit from Kanban. I first of all decided to use one of the pink shaped cards provided in the kit which is approximately 7.5" x 5.5" and one of the larger "girl" toppers. I also used one of the embossed/patterned backing papers provided in the kit too and after gluing it to the topper cut round it following the shape. I then glued 3 flowers (2 paper and 1 resin) to the right hand side of the card and a strip of pink ribbon (with a pink button) to the left using my hot glue gun. I also used some " Bling Flourishes " from the Magnolia Lane collection from Ultimate Crafts to add a bit of sparkle to the card. I wanted to try out the new Clear Nuvo Crystal drops (from Tonic Studios) as I had seen that they dried c...

Happy birthday dragonfly with flower white DL card -  Day 82 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I am carrying on the " monochrome " theme and have just made this birthday DL card which has turned out better than I thought it would! I first of all chose the topper which is a really pretty dragonfly and lotus flower design from Hunkydory and thought that it would fit inside a white DL window aperture card. I wanted it to have some texture so embossed the front of the card using a scoring board at 1/2" intervals . To make sure the topper was in the right place I closed the card and stuck it to the inside flap through the aperture. I used Collall All purpose glue as it allows you some time to correct any mistakes! Once I was happy with where it was, I then glued the panel to the front so that it now just looked like a normal DL card. I had previously cut out the " Waterfall frame " in white and thought it would look like a window so g...

A5 hand decorated Pukka Pad with matching bookmark + pen and pencil -  Day 46 of my 366 Day challenge Hi Craft Addicts! So, it is now day 46 of my 366 day challenge and yes, I have stuck to it so far! This time this is an A5 Pukka Pad which I decorated with the fabulous papers from Neroli (Sparky and Marie - 1st Edition ). I first of all used a sheet of the 12" x 12" pad and covered both front and back of the pad - making sure that the pattern was the right way up using Collall All Purpose glue as it allows some "wiggle" time. Once it was dry, I then added a panel of matching paper at the bottom half of the front using red Ultra strong red liner tape on 3 sides (excluding the top edge). I would then add a border to the top edge so you can see when it starts as it does mess your head a bit as it is at the moment! I then stuck a really pretty rosette from the Magnolia Lace collection from Ultimate Crafts to the top right hand corner. F...
