  Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card is one that could be sent to a friend you haven't seen for some time! I decided to stamp the flower spray (from the Sending Smiles die and stamp collection from Stamps by Me) directly on to the front of a 7" x 5" white card which I used as a tent fold card. Before stamping it, I rounded the corners using my Prism punch from Hunkydory. I put the card in a stamping platform and stamped it using Gina K Obsidian Black ink a couple of times to make sure it was perfect.  I also stamped the Lovely Friend sentiment at the same time at the bottom of the card. I then added some masking tape and inked the left hand side of the card with a mix of Izink Dye based ink pads. I added a narrow strip of red liner tape, removed the backing and placed some black foil on top of it and burnished it so that there was no stickiness left. Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card is one using dies and stamps from several companies. I took a sheet of Olive Green A4 card (from Tattered Lace) and made a 7" x 5" card out of it scoring it in the middle. I also trimmed a very small edge of the back so that it is easier to open. I then used the largest of the Rectangle Petit Picot Edge dies from Spellbinders to cut out the main background out of Cream card. I used the Bees in Nature Cut & emboss folder (from the Bee-utiful collection from Crafter's Companion Nature's Garden range) to create a frame out of white card. I saved the centre part for another project and then used Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks (Pinks and Greens) directly on to the card trying not to get too much on to the card itself and concentrated on the embossed parts. I stuck it to the background with a strong tape pen and attached that to the front of the card using PVA glue. I had previously cut out the WOW sentiment and mat layer...

Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card is one I really enjoyed making... I used a base cream/ivory A6 card and rounded the corners of it using a Hunkydory Prism punch. I then cut out the backing layer using the Petit Picot Edge rectangle die from Spellbinders and coloured it in using reds/oranges and yellows Hybrid inks before removing it from the die. Once I was happy with the blending, I put it to one side whilst I made the topper. I stamped out the honey jar from the Bee-utiful collection from Crafter's Companion's Natures Garden range on to some white card using Gina K Obsidian Black ink. I coloured it in using Red and Yellow Spectrum Noir Tri-blenders which were slightly darker in colour to the background but still co-ordinated with it. I used my fingers to shape it a bit and added it to the background with foam pads (double in the centre so it was domed). Hi Craft addicts!       Today's project for my 365 day challenge is something totally different for me, in that I have been playing with a slimline canvas. I first of all painted the top half of a Slimline Multi Media Board from TCW using the Neon Orange polish from Cosmic Shimmer - I allowed it to dry and then repeated the process and again allowed it to dry. I used some masking tape to create two borders of the orange and then painted the rest of the board with some Cadence Black Gesso, again giving it a couple of coats and allowed it to dry and then removed the tape. I added a piece of self adhesive paper to some of Lynda Chapman's Black card and die cut the Bees strip from Crafter's Companion Bee-yutiful Nature's Garden collection, removed the backing sheet and placed it on the top orange strip, burnished it so it was stuck down and then trimmed it. I then stamped the Blooming Bee-utiful sentiment and butterflies using Gina K's Obsidian Black ink directly on to ...

Hi Craft addicts!       Today's latest handmade (literally from scratch) is a bright and cheerful card using dies and stamps. I first of all used the largest of Spellbinders Petit Picot Edge Oval dies and cut out two pieces of white card, and keeping the second one within the die, I coloured it in using some pink/red inks. I then scored the second piece of card at the back with my Hunkydory's Adorable Scoreboard about 3/4" from the top (long side), added some red liner tape and attached them together making sure they married up ok. Using the same die, I then cut out a piece of dark teal card (from Paper Dienamics Metallinks range) and stuck it to the front of the card using a dotty tape pen (vertically). I then cut out one of the smaller ovals in the same range and again keeping it in the die, coloured it in using pinks and purples. I stamped the Honey jar (from Crafter's Companion's Nature Garden Bee-utiful collection) on to some white card using Gina K's Obsi...

Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card is one using some dies, stamps and some inks! I coloured a piece of white card using yellow, orange, red and pink Distress Oxide and Harmony inks (from Tim Holtz and Crafter's Companion) to make a sunrise (esque) background and spritzed it with some water. I then added some self adhesive paper to the back of a piece of Lynda Chapman's Black card and used the Sweet as Honeycomb Die from Crafter's Companion Nature's Garden Bee-youtiful collection to cut it out. Removing the backing sheet carefully, and taking out any waste bits left, I then stuck that to the background and cut around it. I used some foam pads to add it to the front of a top fold white 7" x 5" card trying to make it as central as possible. I then stamped out the Bee NIce sentiment directly on to the card using Gina K Obsidian Black ink. Finally I added some Glossy Highlights (or Glossy Accents) to the wings of the bees. I then added some self adhesive paper to the back of a piece of Lynda Chapman's Black card and used the Bumbling in the Flowers Die from Crafter's Companion Nature's Garden Bee-youtiful collection to cut it out. Removing the backing sheet carefully, and taking out any waste bits left, I then stuck that to the frame I had made earlier. I used a dotty tape pen to attach the whole thing to the front of a 5" white card leaving a narrow border all around it. I then stamped out the Bee Kind sentiment on to some white card, coloured it a bit with the residue inks left on my blender brushes and attached it to the bottom right hand cor...

  Hi Craft addicts!       Today's card for my 365 Day challenge is one that I have made from scratch using Dies and Stamps and a couple of crayons! I first of all cut out two pieces of white cardstock (approx 300gsm) using the scalloped edged circle die from Lisa Horton (but lots of other Companies produce them). I then scored one of them towards the top of the circle (about 3/4") and added some red liner tape to it, removed the backing and stuck the two pieces of card together making sure the edges matched. I decided that rather creating the image on a topper that I could attach to it, I would do it directly on to the front of the card (this meant I couldn't use alcohol markers as they would have bled through to the back). I needed to create the scene so decided to use a stamping platform - I used a load n fold one for this but you could use any that are on the market. Hi Craft addicts!       Today's latest handmade card for my 365 day challenge is a fun DL card using stamps and a pre printed sentiment... I created the background using Cosmic Shimmer Neon polishes (Pink, Yellow and Red) which I did by adding some of the polish on to a glass mat and watered it down a bit so they became more of a wash and painted them on blending them in to create an ombre effect. Whilst it was drying, I cut out a panel of black card using the Creative Expression Slimline Collection - Stitched Oval aperture trio die which cut within the card so if you want to use the panel itself you could cut it out to fit first. To make sure the ovals were in the right place on the background, I used the panel I had cut out, placed it over and added a dot in the middle of each of the ovals so I knew where to add them. I then stuck them to the card with PVA glue and added it to a panel of black card which is slightly bigger (I had rounded the corners with the Hunkydory's...
