Gift bag with abstract elephant, girl and paper flowers -  Day 197 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's project for day 197 of my 365 day challenge is slightly different as I found a Kraft bag and thought I would use it to make this gift bag... How I made this project:- I first of all took some white stamping card and added some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist Sprays - as you can see I used Orange, Blue, Yellow and Gold (randomly sprayed) and then added some of their Color Wash Inks. It was only after that I had dried it off and was turning it around that I could see the elephant in it (I hope you can).  I then added it to some black card (I used Lynda Chapman's from Creative Crafting World) and trimmed it leaving a narrow border.  I used some Versamagic ink to add some elephants and words on to a 200x260mm (approx) Kraft coloured Gift bag and left it to dry. Once it was, I stuck the elephant panel on to it using fingerlift tape.  I also...

Ladybird series of cards (my own design) - Day 47 of my 366 day challenge   Hi Craft Addicts! For Day 47 of my 366 Day challenge, I am looking at a series of cards I made using a Ladybird design I created a few years ago. I really love the design (even if I say so myself) as I think it is cheerful and fun. As you can see from the photo, there are square cards, small and large cards, gift boxes and bags, bookmarks and gift tags all slightly different but all fun. I will also be producing kits so you can make your own projects - they will include toppers, sentiments and much more... . They will be on my website soon, so why not sign up to my regular newsletter - if you order something before June 1st, you will receive a 10% discount on orders over £25.00. - Just visit www.thehandmadecraftsshop.co.uk  So if you think this sounds interesting then why not:- Follow me on Twitter       Like me on Facebook   ...

Day 6 of 366 day challenge - Love is a four Lettered word gift bag

Image
Love is a four lettered word gift bag Hi Craft addicts! For day 6 of my challenge, I thought I would write about something slightly different as I think this would make a lovely gift bag for Valentine's Day or just to say you think someone is special!  I will be producing a card to match it over the next couple of days. I think that the Raining Cats and Dogs paper collection images from Graphic 45 are absolutely stunning so cut the panel " Love is a Four lettered word " out and stuck it using Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue to a fancy shaped white matting layer. Once this was dry, I then stuck it to a larger panel of the green and white check paper again from Graphic 45. Using a We R Memory Keepers Crop-a-dile , I cut the corners so that they matched the rest of the panel and then, using Collall All Purpose Glue , I attached it to the Kraft gift bag (the dimensions are 20x26cm ).. I used a smaller panel from the same Raining Cats n Dogs series and att...

Gift bag for Father's day or birthday "Have a Great Day"

Gift Bag for Father's Day or birthday "Have a Great Day!"  Hi Craft Addicts! Well, as mentioned in a previous post, I thought I would make something other than a card and I think this gift bag would be great to put a present in for Father's Day or even a birthday. I like Kraft card and paper, so have used this bag which I think goes very well with the Paper Pad and Tickets from " Suits You Sir! " from  Craftwork Cards  but am not sure if it is still available.  The bag measures 18x27mm approximately so stuck one of the 6 inch square papers ( moustache, pipe and bowler hat on white ) onto the centre of the bag. Once that was done, I then used some of the tickets that came with the " Suits You Sir" kit and stuck them above and below it.   I then glued two squares (similar to ones I had punched out before using the large Woodware scallop punch ) in the middle (one of the contrasting designs is better) and then used on...
