Chalkboard MDF pallet 2017 calendar - Day 303 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's challenge is slightly different in that it is an MDF pallet art wall hanging which I have made into a pretty 2017 calendar. How I made this wall hanging:- The wall hanging itself is made from the Stamps Away "Mini pallet art" kit - I used 6 of the MDF strips and glued them together - to keep the stuck together, I glued two at a time and allowed them to adhere properly. Once that was done, I painted both the front and the back using "White" Pebeo acrylic Gesso paint. I gave it a couple of coats and allowed it to dry in between them. I then added the two additional struts to the back using Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue - this really does strengthen the whole thing and makes it look better too (in my opinion anyway).
