With Love Balloon in flight silhouette A6 card -  Day 220 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Well today's card is mix of Tattered Lace dies, Kuretake Watercolours for the background and a stamped sentiment! How I made this card:- I took a piece of white linen card (the back of an old card) and attached the Art Deco Tattered Lace frame which I had cut out in black card using Midas Touch Sticky dots. I coloured inside the frame using various blue shades of Kuretake Watercolour paints trying to make it as atmospheric as possible! I let it dry overnight as I find using a heat gun makes it curl up too much. I then stuck it to the front of an A6 white linen effect card (so they matched) using a mix of finger lift tape and a wet glue. The balloon and the house are both Tattered Lace dies and I cut them out in black card. I added a tiny bit of yellow card to the back of the house where the windows are to look like lights. Happy Birthday - Unicorn in silhouette on painted background 7x5in card - Day 212 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Another hot day and the sun is shining and I have been playing with my Kuretake water colour paints to create the background that the Unicorn is on. Here is how I made it.... I used one of the pre cut oval shape white mat and layer (gold) from Hunkydory for the topper and painted the background directly on to it. I used various blue shades in the Kuretake water colour box (the green one) and blended them until I was happy with the shading and left it to dry. Whilst it was drying, I cut out the Unicorn's head (from Tattered Lace) in Lynda Chapman's black card. I then stuck it on to the background using a wet glue as it gave me a bit of wiggle time. I used the white paint from the Kuretake set to add the stars (and the eye) - I would have used a Gel pen but found it had dried out! I embossed/scored 2 lines at the top and bottom of the 7x5in w...
