Happy Easter - Bunnies and Easter Eggs C6 green card -  Day 60 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft Addicts! Day 60 of my 365 day challenge and this project is an Easter Card which hopefully will cheer someone up! I have used a Crafty Expressions stamps, some background papers from Tonic Studios and Stylish Silhouettes Rainbow Radiants pad. How I made this card:- I still have some of these shaped cards that I need to use up, so thought an Easter card would be ideal.. I first of all cut a panel of the Flowery Tonic Studios' Mid Summer Morning 8" paper pad using my Cutterpillar Pro and attached it to the front of the card. I then tore 3 strips of green paper (from the Rainbow Radiants 6" paper pad from Hunkydory's Stylish Silhouettes) and used 2 of the darker shade for the top and bottom parts and the lighter one in the middle and stuck them to the bottom of the card. I then stamped out various images from the Crafty Expressions Spring Fun set using Onyx B...

Rudolph hand coloured Seasons Greetings 7x5in card -  Day 345 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is a Christmas card using a Stag's head (Rudolph) that I have cut out using my Brother Scan n Cut with some Tonic Studios backing papers. How I made this card:- I first of all cut out the "Rudolph" head out using an SVG file on my Brother ScanNCut - I will keep the head for another project and coloured it using some "Tea Dye" Tim Holtz Distress inks as I didn't want it to be too white. I then took a sheet of the 8" Christmas backing paper from the "Christmas Wishes" pad from Tonic Studios and stuck it behind the head and trimmed it to fit. I then placed the whole topper on to a 7" x 5" white card using Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue. I also attached a coordinating border strip which came from a Hunkydory kit on either side of the topper so it was framed. I had some of the Christmas sentiment min...

Snowmen (2) 5" x 7" white Christmas cards -  Day 342 of my 366 Day Challenge Hi Craft addicts! So for today's challenge, I have made 2 different cards using peel off stickers, some inks and some backing papers from Tonic Studios and Craftwork Cards...and I hope you can see that peel off stickers can be fun to use and not childlike at all! How I made these cards:- Card 1 - Snowman on Sledge I used the "Snowman on sledge" Peel off sticker (black outline) which comes in a set of 3 designs on one sheet from Craft Creations  and placed it on to a pre-cut white deckle edged panel (again from Craft Creations ) making sure that there was enough room to make a snow scene.      I then covered the outline with some card which I had torn to give it a rough edge and coloured the sky area using various inks - especially "Bahama Blue" Memento ink and the "Blue - B01" from Generation INX. The sticker sheet also comes with some "snowf...

Happy Christmas - parcel and bauble DL Kraft card -  Day 328 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! It is now day 328 of my 366 day challenge and this time I have made this card using some Tonic Studios background paper, some peel off stickers and some Tattered Lace dies. How I made this card:- I first of all cut a panel of the "Bauble" background paper from the "Christmas Wishes" 8" paper pad from Tonic Studios - this measures 8cm x 18cm ) and backed it on to a larger black panel.  I then added a "Jagged Edged" border strip to the centre of this panel using Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue. I stuck the whole panel on to the front of a DL Kraft card using a tape pen making sure that it was in the middle of the card. I cut out the "flower" shaped die cut (from Tonic Studios) in white cardstock and whilst still in the die, coloured it using some "Orange/Red/Pink" dye based inks.  I then added the "parcel...

Snowflake on Snowflake background Christmas card -  day 325 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Snowflakes are the theme for today's card for day 325 of my 366 day challenge - can't believe it has gone so quickly! I have used some Tattered Lace dies, some snowflake background paper and a snowflake die along with some blue inks. How I made this card:- I first of all took a sheet of the "Snowflakes" background paper (Christmas Wishes 8" paper pad from Tonic Studios) and cut it to fit a 6" white card using a Tattered Lace picot edged square die (approx 5.25" ) and coloured the edges in "Blue" Papermania dye making the bottom part darker than the top. I then stuck it to the front of the card using fingerlift tape trying to make sure that there was an even space all around it! I then cut out the "Snowflake" using a Creative Expressions die (not sure which one) out of some white card that I had previously coloured...

Flowers - blank no message 7in square card -  Day 311 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card for my challenge is one using some flower paper from Tonic Studios, some die-cuts from Tattered Lace and some backing paper from Hunkydory. How I made this card:- I decided I would make a 7" square card which is the largest size card before postage charges go up and so used this one from Hunkydory - you always know that their cards are going to be the best quality ever! I also used one of the "Green" background papers that is in their 6" "Radiance Rainbows" paper bad and stuck it to the front of the card using fingerlift tape. I used my Brother ScanNCut to cut out the "Zig-zag" border strip in black cardstcok and glued it to the centre of the card. I then cut out 2 of the "Lacey Squares" (I think) from Tattered Lace in cream cardstock and glued them in a diamond shape overlapping each of them in the centre. ...

Chalkboard MDF pallet 2017 calendar - Day 303 of my 366 day challenge

Chalkboard MDF pallet 2017 calendar -  Day 303 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's challenge is slightly different in that it is an MDF pallet art wall hanging which I have made into a pretty 2017 calendar. How I made this wall hanging:- The wall hanging itself is made from the Stamps Away "Mini pallet art" kit - I used 6 of the MDF strips and glued them together - to keep the stuck together, I glued two at a time and allowed them to adhere properly. Once that was done, I painted both the front and the back using "White" Pebeo acrylic Gesso paint. I gave it a couple of coats and allowed it to dry in between them. I then added the two additional struts to the back using Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue - this really does strengthen the whole thing and makes it look better too (in my opinion anyway). Using some Collall All Purpose glue I attached the "Floral" background paper which is from the "Mid Summer Mornings" 8...
