Flowers - blank no message 7in square card - Day 311 of my 366 day challenge
Flowers - blank no message 7in square card -
Day 311 of my 366 day challenge
Hi Craft addicts!
Today's card for my challenge is one using some flower paper from Tonic Studios, some die-cuts from Tattered Lace and some backing paper from Hunkydory.
How I made this card:-
- I decided I would make a 7" square card which is the largest size card before postage charges go up and so used this one from Hunkydory - you always know that their cards are going to be the best quality ever!
- I also used one of the "Green" background papers that is in their 6" "Radiance Rainbows" paper bad and stuck it to the front of the card using fingerlift tape.
- I used my Brother ScanNCut to cut out the "Zig-zag" border strip in black cardstcok and glued it to the centre of the card.
- I then cut out 2 of the "Lacey Squares" (I think) from Tattered Lace in cream cardstock and glued them in a diamond shape overlapping each of them in the centre.
- I then cut out a square (75mm) in the "Flowers" paper from the "Midsummer Morning" 8" paper pad from Tonic Studios and stuck it to a black mat (85mm) and placed it in the middle of the card using foam pads.
- Finally, I used some "Ripened Pumpkin" Crystal Nuvo Drops in each corner - this colour just matches the flower colour perfectly - I wonder how?
And there you are - a bright and cheerful floral themed card using some patterned paper and a couple of die cut shapes.
