Father Christmas and holly sprigs Scalloped edged card - Day 327 of my 366 day challenge
Father Christmas and holly sprigs Scalloped edged card -
Day 327 of my 366 day challenge
Hi Craft addicts!
Today I have made this Christmas Card - this time a Father Christmas with some holly sprigs on a scalloped edged card - for day 327 of my 366 day challenge.
How I made this card:-
- I had cut out this wavy panel in white linen card using my Brother ScanNCut and thought I would see what sort effect I would get using some inks on it.
- Before colouring it I added the "Father Christmas" peel off sticker to it and coloured it in using Black, Red and Grey alcohol markers.
- I then used some Blue DoCrafts inks to colour around it, leaving part of it white.
- Using some "Holly" sprigs peel off stickers, I added them to the top corners and coloured those in Green and blue (using the colour already there to give shade to the ribbons). I also added some Nuvo pearl drops to make the berries stand out.
- I stamped the "Merry Christmas" stamp underneath the Father Christmas using Onyx Black Versafine ink
- I then added the whole panel on to a layer of black cardstock which I had cut out using a Tattered Lace Picot edged die.
- I added the whole layer on to a 6" scalloped edged white card using Collall All Purpose glue which allowed me to make sure it was in the right place.
And there you are - a stylish and cheerful Christmas card which is suitable for all ages. It is quick and simple to make using a card from Hunkydory, Tattered Lace and some Peel-off stickers, some inks and Nuvo drops. You can also buy it from my website here
