Hello Sunshine cute kids on rainy day stamped 6in card Hi Craft addicts! I am taking part in the 100 Day challenge and I have made this card as my first "entry".... How I made this card:- I had been wondering how to use this stamp collection (Sunny Showers from For The Love of Stamps by Hunkydory) and it suddenly came to me that I could make a "story" out of them. I first of all stamped all of the figures out on to 3 pre-cut cream 67mm square deckle edged cardstock. I used Gina K Amalgam ink as I can use either watercolours or alcohol inks with it. I then painted them all with some Cosmic Shimmer Masking fluid and let them dry. Once they were dry, I created the backgrounds using blues and greens Rare Earth Reaction inks, making the one with the dog darker as I had added some of the raindrops to it and gradually making the background lighter for the one with the sun on it. Happy Birthday toadstools C6 Gatefold card -  Day 109 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's challenge was made using Hunkydory For The Love of Stamps and some polka dot backing paper on a C6 gatefold card. How I made this card:- I took a sheet of the green/blue polka dot paper (from Creative Crafting World's Paper Boutique A Hint of a Hoot 8" paper pad and stuck it on either side of a C6 gatefold card - trimming it to fit. I then cut a sheet of brown paper to make it look like some earth for either side and glued them to the card. I also stamped two toadstools on to some white stamping card using Versafine Onyx Black ink, covered them in Clear Embossing powder and heat embossed  them so I could use alcohol markers on them. The Toadstool caps were coloured using a bright red and the stalks in a tan and beige colours. I also coloured the doors and surround in brown. Art deco lady hand coloured shaped card - Love and Family -  Day 70 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card for day 70 of my 365 day challenge, is this hand coloured Art Deco lady on a shaped card. I love the blue backing paper - think the colour is brilliant (but hasn't been shown in its' best light in this photo....) How I made this card:- I first of all trimmed a piece of blue paper (from Hunkydory's Rainbow Radiance 6" x 6" pad) to fit (with a border) on this shaped white card. I found the floral Happy Birthday insert recently but have no idea who it is from unfortunately and cut a strip approximately 2" wide. I placed it on the blue layer and made sure that the flowers were on either side equally and taped it on the back and stuck the whole thing on to the front of the card. Love you to the moon and back Flamingos in love card   Day 22 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card for my challenge is this fun Flamingos in love 7" x 5" card which I have made using Hunkydory's Flamingo Party stamp collection, some distress inks. How I made this card:- I first of all cut out the square in white stamping cardstock using a Tattered Lace die (but any one would do). I then took the two flamingos from the Flamingo Party range from For The Love of Stamps stamp collection (Hunkydory) and stamped them both using Versafine Onyx Black ink and then embossed them using a clear embossing powder. I then used 2 Zig Clean Color pens to colour them in (pink shades). I coloured the background in with both Altenew and Distress inks - using a post-it note to define where the water ended and the sky started. Just for you cute elephant reveal it DL aperture card -  Day 13 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's challenge is one that I have made using the reveal it stickers from Stamps By Me over some hand coloured balloons and elephant which I stamped using the Stamps By Me stamps. How I made this card:- I have had these stamps (and reveal it stickers) from Stamps by Me for ages and thought it was about time I used them so first of all I used some Versafine Onyx Black ink to stamp them out on good quality stamping card, adding some clear embossing powder and embossed the design. I then coloured it in using various shades of Grey alcohol markers adding some pink to the inside of the elephant's ears and feet. I also coloured the hat in red and blue markers and the balloons to match his/her hat! Vampires, Pumpkins and bats....  Hi Craft addicts! Well it is a long time since I last wrote a post about the cards I make and so I thought it about time I did one! I had great fun making this one as it was not too difficult and I was able to use various stamps and Distress Inks (I really want to get some Tim Holtz Distress Oxides inks as they look great!). I had had this pink 6" window triple aperture card for ages and it was beginning to fade a bit so I decided to cut the 3rd flap off and make it a normal card. I first of all used the apertures to draw boxes on the inside of the card and then added a border around the front of the card. I then coloured the inside of this border using Tim Holtz "Picked Raspberry" and "Festive Berries" distress inks. Hello - Daisy in a frame hand coloured 7x5in card Hi Craft addicts! I haven't posted anything for a while but thought I better do one otherwise you might forget me lol. For this 7x5in card, I used the Dainty Daisy stamp collection from the For the Love of Stamps set (from Hunkydory) along with some Altenew and Tim Holtz Distress inks and a die from Spellbinders. How I made this card:- I had some of the Hunkydory matts and layers (they do them in Oval, Round and Square) and wanted to use them so first of all took the largest of the oval white matt and cut the frame out using a Spellbinders die. Whilst still in the die, I coloured it using the "Warm and Cosy" inks from Altenew (they are beautiful Orange shades) along with a bit of yellow in the centre (though I left the middle white).  I also used a fineliner pen to add some faux stitching around the edge and then took it out. Home Sweet Home - Magic Fairy toadstool shaped card Hi Craft addicts! It's been a few days since I have been on here - apologies for that but aim to rectify that! This card is a fun "New Home" card that I have made using mainly Hunkydory products from their shaped cards to their "For the love of stamps collection. How I made this card:- I used a pre-cut deckle edged off white square panel (from Craft Creations) and stamped the circle (from Rare Earth) in "Onyx Black" Versafine ink. I then stamped the "toadstool house" in the circle (again using Versafine) and then coloured it in using Zig Clean Color pens in red, orange, brown and yellow. Using Altenew inks (green shades) I then added the grass and leaves and shaded them using a waterbrush.
