I love Chocolate MDF wall hanging -  Day 194 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! So something a bit different today for my challenge - this time an MDF wall hanging that has the fun slogan " I love chocolate ". I used a 4mm MDF wall plaque (it comes from the "Tangled" collection from Dreamees) and coated both the top frame and base in " Chocolate Bronze " Metallic Gilding Polish (from Creative Expressions) a couple of times leaving it to dry in between coats. They measure 120x140mm approximately if you want to get them from elsewhere. Whilst they were drying I mat and layered the topper (from Hunkydory ), onto some bright blue cardstock, then some white and finally onto a lacy rectangle layer   of black cardstock which I had cut out using a Spellbinders die. Chocolate - the 12 step guide wall hanging... Hi Craft Addicts! You may have seen my last blog about making a stylish wall hanging using a topper from Hunkydory   and a plaque style MDF shape from Dreamees and so here is another one I have made - this time featuring that other favourite, chocolate ... The process is exactly the same as before but this time using it landscape instead of portrait. I painted the panel (which is  22cm x 10cm ) using the  Pebeo Black Gesso  acrylic paint (I had to do it a couple of times using some  Cut n Dry foam  - this, I have discovered is  SO  much better than using a brush as it does give a smoother coat. Whilst it dried on both sides, cut a  gold foiled border  (with diamond panels) into the right length for both sides - this is from another of Hunkydory's card packs.  I then glued them to the panel just to the right (or left) of the holes either side.
