May your days be bright... 7x5in card - 365 day challenge

Hi Craft addicts!

Today's latest handmade card for my 365 day challenge is a bright and cheerful card using various products...

  • I rounded the corners of a 7" x 5" top fold card using a Hunkydory corner punch.
  • I then cut a piece of green paper (from Paper Boutique Dancing Daisies 8" paper pad) to fit the front of the card leaving a narrow border around it (approximately 6.5" x 4.5". I also rounded the corners of it too.
  • I took one of Lisa Horton's Slimline Floral stencils and coloured through it using pastel hybrid inks (Tim Holtz/Crafters Companion and Nuvo) and trimmed it so that it measured about 2.5" x 5" and rounded the corners.
  • I then attached it to some of Lynda Chapman's Black card, trimmed it so there was a narrow border and then rounded the corners of that too.
  • I fussy cut out the sentiment border from the Dancing Daisies Paper pad and stuck it to a panel of coloured card which I then edged with a black alcohol marker.
  • I then stuck the floral panel directly on to the front of the card with a tape pen and then added the sentiment to it with foam pads.

So if you think this sounds interesting then why not:-
