  Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card is a topfold card using dies, inks and stamps.... I first of all created the background using Creative Expressions Cosmic Shimmer Neon Polishes (pink, yellow and orange) watering them down so I could blend them in to create the sunrise effect. I cut out the dragonfly using the Dragonfly Lattice die from Stamps by Me and some of Lynda Chapman's black card and some self adhesive backing sheet (removing one layer of the backing sheet first). I then removed the remaining backing sheet and carefully placed it on top of the background and trimmed it so it fitted perfectly. I then placed it on to the front of a 7" x 5" white card (topfold) with some foam pads to give it some height.    Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge is a bright and cheerful card using just stamps and paints. I took a piece of white card and using Cosmic Shimmer Neon polishes (yellow, red and orange) and took some of each of them and placed them on to a craft mat and mixed them slightly with some water to create a paint effect and coloured the card for a sunrise effect. Once I was happy with the colours, I left it to dry as I would be using stamps on it. Whilst that was happening, I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment (from Lisa Horton) out, cut around it and then placed it on to some Brown linen effect card, again cutting around it and put it aside. When the background was dry I used Rare Earth Silhouette flower and dragonfly stamps to create the scene. I must admit I didn't have a plan to start with and just went with the "flow".   Hi Craft addicts!       Today's latest handmade card is a very quick and easy card using Lisa Horton dies. I rounded the corners of a white A6 card using Hunkydory's Prism punch first of all. I then used a stitched rectangle die (measuring approximately 3" x 4.5") and cut out a piece of white card. Using Crafter's Companion Harmony Water reactive ink pads, I created the sunset ombre background by blending them all in starting with the Lemon Tonic, then Honey Pot and finally Fuschia. I left the panel to dry and then edged it with a black alcohol marker. I also used the same inks to colour another panel of card and then cut out the Flowers from Lisa Horton from it and then some others using Lynda Chapman's Black card (from Creative Crafting World) which I had added some self adhesive backing sheet to.   Hi Craft addicts!       I really love these dies from Creative Expressions and was very pleased how this card turned out. I scored the right hand side of a 7" white card (so many Companies produce these) with my Adorable Scoreboard from Hunkydory about 8 times varying the space width for some of them. I cut out the Lady with Rose die using some of Lynda Chapman's Black card. I had created a lot of sunset backgrounds using Tim Holtz's Distress Crayons from Ranger and selected this one to have behind the die cut.  Before sticking it down, I stabilised the crayons with some cheap hairspray so it wouldn't rub away and then glued the lady on with PVA glue - you could have used a self adhesive sheet to save any glue seeping through. I then attached it to the left hand side of the card again with PVA glue. I stamped out the Thanks a bunch sentiment (from a Lisa Horton collection) on to some white card, added it to some black card (having given them both a wavy edge) ...

Hi Craft addicts!       I really love the effect these paper cuts dies create and so I hope you will find it interesting in how I made it as it is very simple to make... I created the sunrise background using a variety of Hybrid inks from Tim Holtz and Simon Hurley from Ranger - yellows, oranges and red, blending them in until I was happy with the effect and left it to dry properly. I edged it with a black alcohol marker. I used the Owl Best Wishes Creative Expressions Paper Cut die and cut it out in Lynda Chapman's black card and attached it to the background with glue. I left the Best Wishes "waste" for another project. I then added it to a white A2 Card (from Tonic Studios) using PVA glue. And there you are a very quick and easy card to make that looks as if you are a lot cleverer than you are! Congratulations sunrise hand coloured and stamped C6 card for Day 137 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I was really pleased with the way this scene turned out - I hope it does look like a sunrise/sunset!! I have also used some Rare Earth and For the Love of Stamps for the decoration. How I made this card:- I first of all took a piece of white Water colour card and using the textured side, I coloured it in using reds, oranges, yellows, blue and black to make the sunrise/sunset background. So I could mirror the top and bottom (to give an idea of shadow), I did each colour at a time blending them in as I went along. I then masked off the majority of the background, leaving only a small gap in the centre and sponged through it using some True Graphite Altenew ink (I moved the paper slightly at an angle so it gave the impression of there being land on each side. May your birthday. be the start of a spectacular year C6 card -  Day 76 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Well the snow has arrived again, so thought that this card might add some cheer to the gloom! I used embossing powders, stamps from Stamps by Me and Tim Holtz Distress inks to make it.. How I made this card:- I trimmed a piece of white stamping card (Any good quality card will do) to measure 95x140mm (to fit an C6 card). I then used Onyx Black Versafine ink to stamp the flowers from a collection by Toni Darroch's Stamp by Me collection - not sure what it is called as none of them are named but it is an A5 collection of acrylic stamps. As the ink dries quickly, I embossed each flower separately using a clear Embossing powder (Stamps Away and many other Companies produce this). Thank you card with flowers and grasses in silhouette C6 card -  Day 55 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Well it is the weekend again and I thought I would show you a card I made for one of the very kind people who have donated to my sponsored slim (which I am doing for MacMillan Nurses -  https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/felicity-fuller ) - anyway, I was really pleased with the way that this one turned out.. How I made this card:- I wanted this card to have a sunrise background rather than a sunset one, so used reds, pinks, oranges and yellow dye based inks (Altenew and Tim Holtz Ranger) - gradually blending them in so that it looked "realistic" on a pre-cut C6 white stamping card (this one is from Rare Earth). I then stamped the grasses and flowers image (from Stamps by Me) on to it using Versafine Onyx Black in and added some clear embossing powder and set it using my heat tool.
