Best Wishes Owl paper cut A2 card - 365 day challenge

Hi Craft addicts!

I really love the effect these paper cuts dies create and so I hope you will find it interesting in how I made it as it is very simple to make...

  • I created the sunrise background using a variety of Hybrid inks from Tim Holtz and Simon Hurley from Ranger - yellows, oranges and red, blending them in until I was happy with the effect and left it to dry properly.
  • I edged it with a black alcohol marker.
  • I used the Owl Best Wishes Creative Expressions Paper Cut die and cut it out in Lynda Chapman's black card and attached it to the background with glue.

  • I left the Best Wishes "waste" for another project.
  • I then added it to a white A2 Card (from Tonic Studios) using PVA glue.
And there you are a very quick and easy card to make that looks as if you are a lot cleverer than you are!

So if you think this sounds interesting then why not:-
