I Love you - Love birds on branch 7" x 5"card -  Day 29 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft Addicts! So it is nearly the end of January and I have surprised myself by having continued with my 366 day challenge ! For this one, I have returned to the Love subject as there is still time to make (or buy) this card... So, I first of all selected the topper of 2 love birds sitting on a branch and matted it on to silver mirror card (you can buy them already cut into an A6 size now from Hunkydory) . I then wanted the image to stand out a bit more so I used some black and white Washi tape along the centre of the card and then used some red Ultra strong liner tape on either side of it and placed some TODO red foil on it - you then peel it off and you are left with a foiled strip. Love birds MDF tag or fridge magnet - Day 21 of my 366 day challenge.. Hi Craft Addicts! For day 21 , I have chosen this small MDF tag which can be used as a fridge magnet or can be hung up and would make a lovely gift for Valentine's Day or just to say I am thinking of you! To start with I painted the tag on both sides twice (it measures 100x50mm approximately) with black Pebeo Gesso paint and waited for it to dry. I then cut the bird cage with love birds - I would prefer them to have been "free" but the door may have been open... using the Tattered Lace Birdcage Tapestry die in white cardstock and then glued it to the front of the tag. Using a red Spectrum Noir alcohol marker (DR5 ) I coloured the hearts in and then added some Glossy Accents to highlight parts of them.
