Hi Craft addicts!       Today's latest handmade card was a very simple one to make but good to look at! I first of all took one of the unscored 30cm square cards and used my Hunkydory Scoreboard and creased it at 7.5cm and then 22.5cm and folded them to form a gatefold card. I then rounded the corners using the Prism Hunkydory punch.  The Drum kit background is from the Monochromatic collection by Paper Dienamics and I cut two panels approximately 2.5" each and rounded the corners with a corner punch.  I used a bright pink Spectrum Noir Triblender to colour some of the drum sets in on each of the panels and then stuck it to a slightly larger panel of Gold Mirror card using a tape pen. There is a co-ordinating set of panels from the Paper Dienamics collection and I coloured the drum set again in the matching bright pink marker and added some pale blue Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks to soften the tone. Bird of Paradise Fun and Festive Christmas card Hi Craft addicts! Well today's card is gatefold style using one sheet of Hunkydory's Christmas toppers and a couple of candy striped square cards... How I made this card:- I had these Candy striped 5" (approximately) cards which were produced by Craftwork Cards ages ago and decided I must use them up! So I placed one of the cards upside down and stuck it to the inside of the 2nd one using PVA Glue - I trimmed the left hand side slightly so that it fitted perfectly. I folded both flaps that were created in on themselves so they met in the middle, creasing them with my bone folder to give a good crease. I took all the components out of the Christmas topper sheet and decided which bits one I wanted and decided on the four corners (which I stuck on with PVA in each corner). Little Monsters birthday gatefold card -  Day 257 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I am trying to use up some of my old stock and found these cute monster toppers from Hunkydory so decided to make this A6 gatefold card.... How I made this card:- As mentioned above, I found these fun toppers from a monster collection from Hunkydory, so separated the main one from the frame and placed the latter on both sides of an A6 white gatefold card and stuck it down. Once the glue was dry, I snipped between the two sides to separate them. I then used Gina K Connect Glue to attach the main topper to the left hand side of the card using the frame as a guide. Using foam pads, I then attached the two smaller toppers to either side of the card at an angle. I also used the bat stamp from Bert and Gert's Halloween collection and added them in each corner using Versafine Onyx Black ink. Let your dreams take flight unicorn in silhouette C6 gatefold card - Day 172 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Unicorns and a hand coloured background feature in this C6 gatefold card for day 172 of my 365 day challenge. How I made this card:- I covered the two front panels of a gatefold card in the yellow and white gingham card/paper (not sure where it came from), trimming it to fit both sides. I then added some green and white spotty paper (from Craft Creations) to it, leaving about 1cm space either side. Using Tattered Angels Color Wash paints, I coloured the background to make it look like a sunset using blues and greens and left it to dry. Once it had dried, I added the Unicorn peel off sticker, trying to make sure there weren't any bubbles in it. I then stuck it on to some white card and cut it so that there was a narrow border all around it and stuck it to the left hand panel using Cosmic Shimmer PVA Glue (making sure I could still open the card). Thank you flowers and leaves open gatefold card -  Day 155 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is a result of this C6 pink gatefold card having been in the sun too much and so the edges had been bleached a bit and rather than throwing it away decided to see how it would work if I turned the front panels inside out! How I made this card:- I took this C6 pink gatefold card and folded the front panels in on themselves (towards the outer edges) and scored them well. I then cut out the 3 diamond nesting shapes in red and white gingham paper (Tattered Lace dies) (the largest is about 130x70mm) and attached the first one directly on to the inside of the card, and the next two on top of that using foam tape to give them dimension. The Flower is one from Altenew's Folksy Florals stamps/dies collection and I stamped it on to some white stamping card using Blue, Green and yellow ink pads directly on to the stamp. Happy Birthday toadstools C6 Gatefold card -  Day 109 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's challenge was made using Hunkydory For The Love of Stamps and some polka dot backing paper on a C6 gatefold card. How I made this card:- I took a sheet of the green/blue polka dot paper (from Creative Crafting World's Paper Boutique A Hint of a Hoot 8" paper pad and stuck it on either side of a C6 gatefold card - trimming it to fit. I then cut a sheet of brown paper to make it look like some earth for either side and glued them to the card. I also stamped two toadstools on to some white stamping card using Versafine Onyx Black ink, covered them in Clear Embossing powder and heat embossed  them so I could use alcohol markers on them. The Toadstool caps were coloured using a bright red and the stalks in a tan and beige colours. I also coloured the doors and surround in brown. Cocktails and fizz C6 gatefold card - no message - Day 69 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is a very simple card to make but is a fun one nonetheless - once again I have used Hunkydory's For The Love of Stamps for the main topper and a Rare Earth one for the background. How I made this card:- I first of all stamped the criss cross background directly on to both sides of a white C6 gatefold card using my favourite blue ink pad from Altenew.  I wasn't too bothered that the top and bottom were silghtly misaligned as I was going to add a line to demarcate it anyway.# I then stamped out the 3 different cocktails stamps from Hunkydory's For the Love of Stamps set on white card and coloured them in using Zig Clean Color pens - I used orange and red with grey/brown for the fizz one... Blank Monochrome C5 (150x203mm) gatefold card (Kraft, Cream and white) -  Day 181 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is a monochrome C5 (150x203mm) gatefold card usiing Spellbinders/Creative Expressions dies. The card itself is hammered card which was already cut and can be obtained from Craft Creations here  which are really useful when you don't have time to make them yourself (or can't be bothered to do all the measuring!). I first of all used a sheet of the " beige " textured paper from the " Wonderful Washing Lines " 8" paper pad from Craftwork Cards and cut it to fit the centre of the card and stuck it in using Collall All purpose glue. For the front of the card, I used the Sue Wilson "French" Collection border die from Creative Expressions and cut 2 strips out using a pale Kraft card (which can be bought from Craft Creations).and glued them to the edges of both " gates " as I do thin...
