Happy birthday "stained glass" window hand coloured square card -  Day 230 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's challenge is a 6" Kraft card using a Creative Expressions "Stained Glass" die along with some alcohol markers, some pigment dye inks and a Tonic Studios sentiment... I had cut out the "Stained Gass" circle in pale Kraft Card (from Craft Creations)  using a Creative Expressions die (not sure if it is a Sue Wilson one ) and was wondering what to do it, so when I saw this shaped card i thought it would make a good backing layer and so glued it to it using Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue . I had cut out the Happy Birthday sentiment which is part of the Tonic Studios "retro" collection using some white cardstock that I had previously coloured with some Distress/Pigment ink dies in "Orange, Pink and yellow" distress/pigment inks. Owl in window Pollyanna Pickekring square card -  Day 70 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! So, for Day 70 of my 366 day challenge , I have made this card using a stunning Pollyanna Pickering image from the British wildlife card making ki t, Creating Crafting World produces. I first of all matted the topper on to a deckle edged cream panel (you can buy them already cut out from Craft Creations if you don't have a die-cutting machine). I then added some black and white "Washi tape" to the centre of a larger deckle edged panel of Kraft card - this has been cut out using one of the square dies you can get from many different suppliers (you could also cut all of them out using your electronic cutting machines). As you can see, i added the main topper at a jaunty angle as I thought it looked better that way, so place the whole mat and layered topper to the left of the card leaving more room on the right hand and bottom edges of the card. Fairy on toadstools blank card  Day 69 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft Addicts! This card was made after I had coloured in the toadstools image but thinking about it a bit more, the next one I do I think will be in a box frame so I can even more dimension to it. Anyway, I first of all took the "toadstools" colouring card from the Nature 4" x 6" card collection from Chameleon . I know they have been made in conjunction with the Chameleon pens but I have used r ed Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and coloured in the toadstools. I used the IG pens to colour the stalks with green shades for the grass and the TB4 for the background sky. Once I was happy (as I ever will be) with it, I then used the Spectrum Noir clear Sparkle pen and painted the toadstools. Butterflies and Sunflowers 7" x 5" blank card  Day 65 of my 366 Day challenge Hi Craft addicts So the weekend is here but my 3 66 day challenge continues - I made this card from a hand coloured (by myself) image from Chameleon colour card pad. I first of all coloured the butterflies in using the Bright blues Spectrum Noir alcohol markers - I am gradually getting better at shading - but obviously still have a lot to learn... I then used the yellow, orange and black options to colour the sunflowers in - I used the blender pen to give the centres a bit more texture. I then finished the picture off by colouring in the leaves and stems using the greens. Once they were done, I then used a clear Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen to make the butterflies shimmer a bit more. Rose Garden floral pattern in 9" x 7" picture frame -  Day 56 of my 366 Day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I had die cut this A5 panel from Tattered Lace (Rose Garden panel) in white cardstock, but didn't want to make a card out of it and had the idea that it would make a great idea for a really lovely focal point in a picture frame. So,I stuck the die-cut on to some black cardstock and then coloured some of the flower heads in a variety of colours using my Spectrum Noir Alcohol markers and their Sparkle Glitter brush pen s. I left some white as I think it allows for great contrast, but did add some of the clear Sparkle pen on them. Once they were dry, I then glued the panel on to the reverse of the "carrier sheet" that came in the picture frame and placed it in making sure that it was evenly placed and closed the frame up. Hand coloured flower in natural wood picture frame -  Day 42 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! So, for this post, I have tried my hand at colouring a beautiful flower using Spectrum Noir alcohol markers. I first of all decided what colours I would like to use on the Color Book image from Chameleon - I had done one previously in darker colours but thought lighter ones would be better so chose the pink and green shades Spectrum Noir have. It was suggested that the lighting came from above so tried to make the centres of the flowers darker and blending lighter colours to the edge of each flower and leaf. I also used the blending pen to lighten it. I then added the picture (which measures 4" x 6" or 10x15cm ) on to some black card and then stuck it on to a sheet of white paper and glued it to the back of the picture frame (once again making sure that it was the right side up before closing it!) I heart U DL Valentine's Day card - Day 22 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft Addicts! As Valentine's Day is approaching, I thought for this post I would make this card - I am quite pleased as it is simple but stylish (well I think so anyway)... So, I used a DL cream linen card (which I got from Craft Creations ) as I thought the design I had in mind would work well with it. I then die cut the heart shapes using the Sara Signature Love and Romance Heart Cluster die (from Crafters Companion ).  I glued the hearts in a pattern down the card and then used a Micron pen to add some faux stitching to "attach" them. I then used my Brother Scan and Cut to cut out one of their sentiments ( I heart U) and cut the letters out and glued them in the relevant places on my card. Once I was happy with the way it looked, I used some Crafter's Companion Clear Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen to add some glitter to the larger dies.  For the insert, ...
