With Love... DL card - 365 day challenge

  Hi Craft addicts!       I really enjoyed making this card and hope you will too! I first of all rounded the corners of a white DL card using the Prism (Hunkydory) punch. I then used  Dotty Design slimline die and cut out the largest panel in white card and used my guillotine to take off the edges so it looks like a postage stamp. I then used the 2 smaller panels and cut the middle size in purple card and the smaller one in white. I also rounded the corners of the middle panel and edged the larger of the panels with a black alcohol marker. I then mat and layered them all together and stuck them to the front of the DL card using PVA glue for all of them, having first of all scored the bottom of the panel about 10 times using my Hunkydory Scoreboard The little girl is a stamp and die set from Linnie Pink Designs called Avery, and I stamped it out on to white stamping card and then cut it out using the co-ordinating die. MUM - floral background DL card - 365 Day challenge

Hi Craft addict s! Today's latest handmade card for my 365 day challenge is a Mother's Day card using dies and patterned papers. I first of all used the largest of the slimline Balloons set of dies from Dotty Designs to cut out the background in a green shade of card (from Crafter's Companion)k I then cut out the Stamps by Me It's All about You floral paper using the next size down. I attached the smaller panel to the green background and glued it to the front of a DL white card, the corners of which I had rounded using a Prism (from Hunkydory) punch. I also cut out another of the smaller panels this time in green, but this time adding the aperture die to it as I wanted to use the "waste" as another background layer for the letters. I then used Lisa Horton's Large Stitched Alphabet letter dies (the M and U) and cut the word MUM out in white card.
