Hummingbird in flight blank 7" square card -  Day 212 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! For today, I have used this really pretty "hummingbird" topper from Hunkydory and various coloured Nuvo drops from Tonic Studios. I first of all took the "Hummingbird" topper and removed all the die-cut parts out from it. I then placed it onto a "Scalloped" edged panel of black card which I had cut out using my Brother ScanNCut . I then added it to a panel of white card which I edged with some "Green (G01) " Generation InX water based ink. Before adding the topper, I placed some red liner tape along the right edge of the front of the card and used some of the TODO Green foil to give it a border. I then stuck the whole panel on to the card using some thick foam strips to give it some dimension. I wish you well - birdhouse (hand coloured) - 7" square Kraft card -  Day 206 of my 366 day Challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's project for my 366 day challenge is a tent fold style Kraft card which has been designed using die cuts from both Tonic Studios and Tattered Lace . I cut out the "foliage" shapes out from a Tattered Lace die and stuck them to the top of the card where the fold is - the largest one on the left and gradually getting smaller. I then cut out the "Birdhouse Heights" die again from Tattered Lace in white cardstock - I then coloured it using Spectrum Noir alcohol markers - brown shades for the birdhouses and reds, blues and yellows for the flowers and birds. I also cut out the "I Wish you well" senttiment from the Just Because range from Tonic Studios again in white cardstock. Just for you - Oriental flowers and butterflies 5" x 7" Kraft Card -  Day 183 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! So I am half way through my 366 day challenge and I have made this "Just for you" card using a really pretty Hunkydory topper.and a 5" x 7" Kraft card. I took the Kraft card and cut about 2" from the right hand side as i wanted you to be able to see the inside part too. I then used some of the " yellow/orange " paper from the Craftwork Cards "Ombre" 8" paper pad and stuck them to the front (and reverse) as well as the inside of the card. (You will need 2 sheets to do this). For the topper, I cut the " Lattice " style frame (Spellbinders I think) in " Pink" Adorable Scorable cardstock and glued the "Flowers and Butterflies "  image to it. Hello - Tiger on paw print background with paw prints 7" square card -  Day 121 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! This is something different today - I have only used one topper (again from the " Walk in the Wild " card making kit from Pollyanna Pickering , the rest having been made using designs from SVG files that were on the accompanying DVD and others from the Brother " Stam p" files that you can get on the Scan n Cut. So, first of all, I decided on which files I wanted to use - these were " Paw print circl e" and the " hello ". I adjusted them to measure 13.5cm square for the first one, and 8cm for the latter. I then used some American Craft Black 216gsm cardstock and cut all the images out - I had designed them all in CANVAS and saved them to the memory.  As all the " paws " cut out separately it is important to make sure that all the component parts are not lost! Blank bird in purple card DL kraft card - Day 85 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Happy Easter folks - for today's post, I have made a simple but effective DL card, this time using Kraft card. I first of all cut out the left hand bird in p urple mirri card using the " Songbird " reflections die from the Songbird die collection from Create and Craft. I then cut out the relevant backing panel from the same collection and stuck the bird to it. I then added some faux stitching around it just to highlight it. and coloured a couple of the flowers with a purple alcohol marker. I also cut out two border strips in a paler Kraft colour (from Craft Creations) using the Tattered Lace " Pearl Border " dies and stuck them to the bottom of the card. Oriental bird of paradise revisited - this time in a picture frame -  Day 54 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Another Hunkydory topper this time used in a picture frame which measures 7" x 5" approximately I took the bird of paradise topper sheet from the Hunkydory's " Little Book of the Orient " and cut the main image out and glued it to some black card which I then cut round it so that it left a small border. I then stuck it to a panel of gold coloured Mirri card (it was precut to A6) and then attached it to more black card. I then glued it on the white sheet that came with the frame and placed it back in the picture frame and making sure it was the right way up replaced the backing. Once that was done, I cut out the flower using Tattered Lace floral dies in gold and black which matches the image and stuck it to the right hand corner - and then added a large drop of Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue in the centre and then dropped some ...
