With Love Abstract flower in pink, black and white on hand coloured flowery background square card Hi Craft Addicts! Today's card is a result of using a background I have created myself using Tim Holtz Distress Crayons along with dies from Toni Darroch's Stamps by Me. How I made this card:- I had been playing with some Tim Holtz Distress Crayons to make the flowery background (it measures approx 5" square as the card itself is a 6" one - to do it, I used Spun Sugar and Picked Raspberry, experimenting with the "strokes"  I used - it took a bit of time to get the effect right - I used normal stamping paper this time rather than Yupo as it gives a totally different effect. I also used a paintbrush and some water to blend them in even more. Once I was happy with what I had done, I then added some green alcohol marker to create the stalks and some faded blue and yellow spots dotted around the pattern. Fun Snowmen With Love at Christmas DL card -  Day 354 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Another Snowman card for day 354 of my challenge - this time a fun DL card using stamps and alcohol markers! How I made this card :- I first of all stamped the snowman image out on to some white stamping card - the stamp is from Woodware. I used Tuxedo Black Memento ink to do this as I was going to use alcohol markers. I then coloured them in using orange, yellow, blue, turquoise and grey - trying to tone them in to give some dimension. I then trimmed it to fit a panel of copper paper which would fit a DL white card and attached them both using PVA glue. I glued them both to the front of the card again using PVA glue, leaving a narrow border around it. You are beautiful inside and out With Love 6in shaped chard -  Day 75 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Goodness, it is nearly the weekend already! Today's project for my 365 day challenge is one using both a mask/stencil and the co-ordinating stamps from Hunkydory's For the Love of Stamps range! How I made this card.... I took a piece of pre-cut 6" x 6" Brilliant White stamping card (this was from Rare Earth) but you could definitely cut a piece of card to fit yourself (well not fit yourself but you know what I mean).. I attached the Beautiful Babushka mask to it using some repositionable glue dots in a couple of places and masked off all of the inside area as I wanted to just use the border. Once it was secure, I then took a sponge or you can use a brush or dauber but if found that I could get a better colour with the former and coloured through the mask with 2 shades of Altenew inks - Moss and Parrot to be precise!     With Love - bluebells and butterflies hand coloured 7x5in card -                                Day 26 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I had made a smaller version of this card but decided to make a larger one that could be given on any occasion. How I made this card:- I cut out the large serrated edged oval in green self adhesive cardstock and a slightly smaller one in white card. I think this bluebell stamp is really cute (from the Friends of You stamp collection from For the Love of Stamps collection by Hunkydory) and so I stamped it on the left hand side using Versafine's Onyx Black ink. I then coloured it in using Red,Purple and green alcohol markers (either Spectrum Noir or La Plume). Using blue Altenew inks, I coloured the sky avoiding the plant, making it slightly darker at the top. I then repeated this with Green inks to create the grass. It looked a bit bare...

With Love with ornate heart red, white and cream square card -  Day 5 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card could be for Valentine's Day or just to someone close to you - again it is simple to make but have also used my Scan n Cut to make one of the background layers. How I made this card:- I have used a pre-cut 5" red card and added a cream insert inside before adding anything to the front. I then cut out the bottom layer in cream linen effect cardstock using a Tattered Lace die I then went into my Canvas account (the online design app with my Brother Scan n Cut) and designed the wavy frame and cut it out in red cardstock. I cut the scalloped heart out in vellum using a Tattered Lace die and then did the same with the main topper (the frame in white and background in red) and attached them together. With Love - Poppies 5" x 7" card -  Day 296 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! So today I have made this Poppy themed card using a hand coloured image along with a smaller topper from Hunkydory on a 5"x7" white card. How I made the card:- I coloured in the "Poppies" image (from the Color Cards from Chameleon Pens using shades of "red" and "Green" Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and then cut it out leaving a white border around it. I then coloured it again using "red" and "green" Sparkle pens and let it dry. I used the Tattered Lace "Pin dot - Rectangles" set of dies and cut out a panel of black cardstock using the largest die. I added the "red and yellow" polka dot "Washi tape" - I like this particular one as it allows you to see some of the black through it.
