   Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge is a bright and cheerful card that should bring some fun to anyone you send it to... I first of all rounded the corner of an A2 Kraft card (from Tonic Studios) with a Hunkydory Prism punch. I then took one of Hunkydory's Tags (from their pad) and masked off two areas - one about 1.5" from the top and another at the bottom with some of their Washi tape. I painted the areas with Lava Orange Neon polish from Creative Expressions and left it to dry and then repeated the process and again left it to dry. I removed the masking tape and then added some wide red liner tape to just below the painted areas, removed the backing layer and placed some black foil over it and burnished it until there was no sticky parts on it.    Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge is the semi monochromatic card using dies and stamps.... I first of all took a 7x5in white landscape card from Paper Boutique (Creative Crafting World) and used a Kit n Caboodle punch to create a different corner. I then cut out the two frames (from Stamps by Me) twice, the top one in Lynda Chapman's Black card and the bottom one in Bright blue self adhesive sheet (from Dalton Manor) and placed them on top of each other so that the blue foliage parts show through. I then attached it to the front of the card using a solid tape pen but you could use it a wet glue so that you can place it where you want. I had previously cut out the flower spray (Refined Bouquet from Tattered Lace) in Lynda Chapman's Black card and added it to the bottom of the frame again using a tape pen - this time a dotty one so the glue only goes where it needs to.   Hi Craft addicts!       Today's latest handmade card for my 365 day challenge is this Bee themed square card using the Bee-youtiful collection in the Nature's Garden set from Crafter's Companion. I used the Bees and Flowers Mini embossing folder from the collection and cut a strip of card that I had previously created a background on and embossed it. I then used some Obsidian Black ink from Gina K and brushed the ink pad over the embossed area a couple of times so that the embossed area is highlighted. I trimmed it to approximately 4.5" and 1.5" wide and stuck it with a tape pen to a strip of Lynda Chapman's black cardstock and trimmed that so that it fitted the left hand side of a 5" white card. I used the Bee stamp and stamped it on to the card (1st and 2nd Generation) to create a background.     Hi Craft addicts!       Today's latest handmade card for my 365 day challenge is a fun card using some stamps, Distress Oxide inks and a craft knife. I stamped out the Fairy Door using a design from Francoise Read (in her Woodware Stamps range) using Gina K Obsidian Black ink. I then used 3 shades of Brown Spectrum Noir Triblender markers to colour in the door and then Pink, Yellow and Green for the flowers and leaves. I used Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks (Salty Ocean and Rustic Wilderness) to create the background. I fussy cut around the image and edged it with a black alcohol marker. I decided I wanted the door to open, so I used my Tonic Studios Craft knife to cut around the door making sure that it could open properly and then cut out the oval window. I had thought I wanted a Fairy inside the house, but decided it would be more fun to use the Hamster stamp from Sweet Dixie, so stamped it out on to some white card again using Gina K Obsidian Black ink and...

   Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge uses stamps and dies along with Distress Oxide inks. I created the background first using Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks (mainly blue shades) and then once I was happy with the effect I splashed some water on to it and let it dry naturally. I used two inverted rectangle dies from Crafters Companion - the larger one to cut out the background and then the smaller more ornate one to cut out a frame in white card. I also cut out the Lady (along with the kite and umbrella) in Lynda Chapman's black card again using the Wild Spider sticky roll to save using glue. The dies are called The Park and are part of the Tim Holtz range by Sizzix.  I placed the die cuts where I wanted them and removed the backing sheet and stuck them down.   Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge is a monochrome floral 7" x 5" top fold card which I hope you like! I cut a piece of Lynda Chapman's Black card and dusted it with an anti-static bag before stamping the Passion Flower image on to it with Versamark ink (which is a sticky ink that your embossing powder will stick to). I used a stamping platform in case I needed to stamp it more than once, but once I was happy with it, I added some True White embossing powder and heat set it. I used the largest of the Picot Petit Ovals Dies from Spellbinders, placed it on the stamped image and taped it in place and ran it through my Sizzix Big Shot. I used PVA glue to attach it to the front of a 7" x 5" white card (topfold) and trimmed the left hand side. I then took two sentiments from Lisa Horton's Sentiments collection, cut them out and added them to some white card which I cut around and added them to the top and bottom of the car...

Hi Craft addicts!       Today's latest handmade card for my 365 day challenge is this simple but effective card. I took a piece of watercolour card and first of all used various blue shades of Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks - such as Salty Ocean and Broken China on the bottom third and then used Oranges and Yellows (from Crafter's Companion Harmony range) on the top two thirds and blended them all in. I then took some water and sprayed it and left it to dry. Whilst it was drying I took some Lynda Chapman's Black cardstock and cut out the tree silhouette die (from Tattered Lace Wondrous Wilderness collection). Using some more of the black card, I mat and layered the background on to it using PVA glue and trimmed it so there was a narrow border all around it. I then stuck the tree on to the panel and attached it to the middle of a 7" x 5" white card using foam pads to give it some height. Hi Craft addicts!       Today's latest handmade card would be great to send to a friend that you haven't seen for ages! I used my Prism punch to round the corners of a 7" x 5" white card and then scored it twice on each side to give it a decorative feature. I then stamped out the Floral Bubbles (fish and flowers) on to some white smooth cardstock and coloured it in using Be Creative Twilights watercolour paints until I was fairly happy with the result. I rounded the corners of that too and then coloured the border with a black alcohol marker. I had created a background some time ago using a variety of alcohol inks and decided to use it for the mat layer and so attached the stamp topper on to it with some PVA glue. I then added that to the front of the card again with PVA glue. I took the Hello and Distance sentiments from one of Lisa Horton's range and stuck them to some white card and gave them both a wavy edge and used foam pads to stick them to the card at the ...

Hi Craft addicts! I wasn't quite sure how this card would turn out but in the end I was pleased with the result - I hope you like it too! I stamped out the birds image out on to some white stamping card approximately 4.5" x 3.5" (this is a Stamps by Me set) using the Gina K Obsidian Black ink. I then coloured the nest and birds using Spectrum Noir Triblenders brown pens (there are 2 different ones in the Deep Blends collection. I used a Green Triblender to colour in the leaves and twigs (again from the Deep Blends collection). I thought it looked a bit stark, so I used Tim Holtz's Crackling Campfire Distress Oxide ink to colour the white card, trying to get an Ombre effect by making it darker at the top. I then edged it with a Black alcohol marker using the Chisel end and stuck it to the front of a 7x5in white card.
