Hello.. Have a magical Birthday Passion flower 7x5in card - 365 day challenge
Hi Craft addicts!
Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge is a monochrome floral 7" x 5" top fold card which I hope you like!
- I cut a piece of Lynda Chapman's Black card and dusted it with an anti-static bag before stamping the Passion Flower image on to it with Versamark ink (which is a sticky ink that your embossing powder will stick to).
- I used a stamping platform in case I needed to stamp it more than once, but once I was happy with it, I added some True White embossing powder and heat set it.
- I used the largest of the Picot Petit Ovals Dies from Spellbinders, placed it on the stamped image and taped it in place and ran it through my Sizzix Big Shot.
- I used PVA glue to attach it to the front of a 7" x 5" white card (topfold) and trimmed the left hand side.
- I then took two sentiments from Lisa Horton's Sentiments collection, cut them out and added them to some white card which I cut around and added them to the top and bottom of the card with foam pads.
- Finally I added some black Nuvo drops in the top left and bottom right hand corners to add some detail.
So if you think this sounds interesting then why not:-
