  Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge is a bright and cheerful DL card using just stencils and stamps... I rounded the corners of a DL white card (from either Hunkydory or Paper Boutique) using my Prism punch. I then cut a piece of white stamping card (Willow White from Sheena Douglass) and placed one of the 3 slimline flower stencils from Lisa Horton over it and inked through it using Oranges, Yellows and Red Hybrid inks (a mix of Harmony and Tim Holtz water reactive ink pads), trying to get an ombre effect. I rounded the corners using the same punch, glued it to some brown linen effect card (either Crafter's Companion or Sizzix) using PVA glue and rounded the corners of the brown card too. I then attached it to the front of the card, trying to get an equal border around it and then stamped out the sentiment using a Woodware stamp, Gina K Obsidian Black ink, coloured it with the same inks as used for the background, fussy cut aroun...

  Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card is one that could be sent to a friend you haven't seen for some time! I stamped the flower spray (from the Sending Smiles die and stamp collection from Stamps by Me) on to some white stamping card using Gina K Obsidian Black ink. I then  rounded the corners using my Prism punch from Hunkydory. I also stamped the Lovely Friend sentiment at the same time on to some white card. To colour the flowers in, I used Spectrum Noir Triblender markers (red, pink, purple and green). I used a black 7x5in card and made it a top fold card and rounded the corners using the Hunkydory Punch and then stuck the image to the middle of the card using a tape pen as I didn't want the glue to show through. I then coloured the Lovely Friend sentiment with a matching alcohol marker and attached it to the bottom of the card with some foam pads to give it some height. Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge is one using just stamps, dye based inks and a corner punch! I first of all took a piece of white stamping card (so many companies now produce this but I use either Sheena Douglass Willow White Card, Hunkydory Stamp/Ink me cardstock or Tonic Studios Craft Perfect) and placed it in a stamping platform, taping it down. I then placed the flower stamp (from the Beautiful Blooms set from Honey Doo Crafts) in one corner and stamped it using Gina K Obsidian Black ink. I repeated the process, rotating the card by 90 degrees each time. Once I had stamped it in each corner, I then stamped it once again in the centre. I then used the smaller of the leaves stamps and inked it with a dark green (Emerald) dye-based ink from Izink (Aladine) and then stamped it in between each of the flowers. Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge is a bright and cheerful one using toppers and dies with a Gnome theme. I decided to use an A6 white card and so rounded the corners using my Hunkydory Prism punch. I used the Creative Expressions Shabby Basics Cheesecloth die and cut it out using Sheena Douglass's Kraft card. Using Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks (Walnut Stain and Gathered Twigs) I dragged them across the die cut to give it a bit of depth and heat set it so it didn't come off on my hand! I used a dotty tape pen to attach it to the front of the card - this pen is great as the glue only lands on the card and doesn't "string". I wanted to use the Gnome collection from Paper Boutique/Creative Crafting World and decided that the floral and gnomes on flowerpots toppers would be idea. Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card is a fun and cheerful Birthday card using these wonderful Gnome themed products... I first of all took a 7x5in white card (Paper Boutique Landscape format) and rounded the corners with a Hunkydory Prism punch. I then used my Hunkydory Adorable Scoreboard and scored the front part of the card in the middle of it and folded back on itself so it measures 3.5" x 5". I used Lynda Chapman's Black card and cut two panels approximately 3.25" x 4.75", rounded the corners so they match the card. I decided to use two Gnome themed pre-cut toppers from Paper Boutique Beverley Eden collections and again rounded the corners and then stuck them to each of the panels trying to get them as central as possible. Using a solid tape pen, I attached the floral one to the front flap and then the Gnome itself to the inside of the card. These collections come with printed sentiments and so I cut out the Happy Birthday and Just for You one...

Hi Craft addicts!       Today's latest handmade card for my 365 day challenge is one using stamps and embossing powder. I first of all dusted a panel of white stamping card with an anti-static pad and then added Versamark to the Floral spray stamp from Ink Lily and rather than using a stamping platform, I placed it directly on to my desk and inked it and then placed the card on top of it, gently rubbing it all over so the ink was transferred. I then added some white embossing powder (so many Companies are now producing their own version but I have Cosmic Shimmer and Thirsty Brush amongst others). I heat set it, moving my heat gun over all of the image until I saw it had all melted. I decided to play with my Ink Lily Glimmer pens and so used the Summer collection to colour over the embossed image, spritzing them with water and used kitchen roll to dry them off - I like the effect as it gives a very subtle sparkle to the card though you can't see it well in the photo.   Hi Craft addicts!       Today's latest handmade card for my 365 day challenge is another floral one using stamps, dies, alcohol markers and pencils. I used the largest of the Spellbinders' Petit Picot edge rectangle die and cut it out in Ivory Crafter's Companion 300gsm card which is the weight I prefer as it gives it some stability. I made sure that there were no waste bits left and then attached it to some Green Metallinks card from Paper Dienamics and trimmed it so there was only a narrow border. I used a dotty tape pen so that the glue only stays where the card is and there is no residue in the spaces. I then made the base card using the largest of Lisa Horton's rectangle dies, cut two pieces in white, scored one of them at the top (about 3/4" down) and added some red liner tape to the inside of the card, removed the backing and attached the two together.   Hi Craft addicts!       Today's latest handmade card for my 365 day challenge is this Bee themed square card using the Bee-youtiful collection in the Nature's Garden set from Crafter's Companion. I used the Bees and Flowers Mini embossing folder from the collection and cut a strip of card that I had previously created a background on and embossed it. I then used some Obsidian Black ink from Gina K and brushed the ink pad over the embossed area a couple of times so that the embossed area is highlighted. I trimmed it to approximately 4.5" and 1.5" wide and stuck it with a tape pen to a strip of Lynda Chapman's black cardstock and trimmed that so that it fitted the left hand side of a 5" white card. I used the Bee stamp and stamped it on to the card (1st and 2nd Generation) to create a background.   Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge is one that I am really pleased with as my blending seemed to be work quite well (Though it is darker in real life)!  I took a 5" white card and rounded the corners with my Prism (Hunkydory) punch. I then cut a scalloped circle using a Lisa Horton die out from Lynda Chapman's Black Card from Creative Crafting World. I also cut out a slightly smaller one in white card and then used the Mini Tiles Woodware Stencil (designed by Francoise Read for Creative Expressions) and added some pink, yellow and orange inks through it and left it to dry. I stuck the smaller circle on to the black one using a tape pen and stuck it to the front of the 5" white card using the same tape pen.
