MDF Butterfly decorated with Acrylic paints - Day 261 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I have been playing with Acrylic paints and MDF shapes and this is one of my first attempts which I had great fun making! How I made this fun project:- I first of all cleaned the surface of the MDF Butterfly - am not sure where it is from but it could either be Dreamees or Ali Reeve's Clever Cuts. I decided to do a "dirty pour" which is where you add all the colours you want into a pot and add it directly to the project. I therefore added the main colour first - which in this case is black Folk Art acrylic paints (these are good as they already have been mixed with a pouring medium to make them easier to pour) into a plastic pot and then added various amounts of Yellow, Blue, Green and a bit of white until I was happy with the colour mix.
