To the best friend - flowers,butterfly and bee A6 card Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is the 2nd (or maybe 3rd) in a series of projects using the same stamp in different ways.... this time I have used black card and white embossing powder.. How I made this card:- I first of all used Versamark ink to stamp the Bold Blooms - Caroline flower spray onto some Black card (Lynda Chapman's) and then added some True White embossing powder and heat set it.  Using the white pencil from the Chameleon set of crayons,I coloured in the flowers and then used a variety of other colours such as red,blue and green to finish them off. I also added some green to the leaves and smaller blooms. Once I was happy with the colouring, I then cut around it trying to leave an equal border around the image. Happy Holidays... children with sandcastle square card -  Day 295 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card for my challenge is a bright and cheerful card celebrating summer holiday time - made with one die and some backing papers. How I made this card:- I first of all cut out the mat and layer using 2 Tattered Lace Square nesting dies - the paper is from Hunkydory's Splendid Spots paper pad - you need 2 pieces as the 2 dies don't quite fit (the paper is double sided so you need to reverse one of them to get the stitched effect on both). I then used a tape pen to attach the smaller layer to the larger one (I had used glue on one before but the glue showed through).  Using white card, I then cut out the sandcastle die (again from Tattered Lace) and coloured it in using Chameleon pencils. I decided to use them rather than paints as it was easier for me to use them. I attached it to the front of the 6" white pearlescent card using PVA glue....

Elegant and stylish ladies set of 5 monochromatic 7x5in cards -  Day 200 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Goodness, it is day 200 of my 365 day challenge and I have made this set of 5 7x5in cards to celebrate! How I made these cards:- I have had these toppers from Kanban for some time so am not sure if they are still available but I finally decided to use them for this project... I first of all decided which of them would be the most effective with some "spot colour" either on the lady herself or on the background/frame. I also wanted them to be slightly different, so have coloured one of the ladies with blue hair using Chameleon pencils - they are great as they blend so well. I coloured the 2nd lady with a bright blue Zig Clean Color pens on the brim of her hat and part of the frame. Life is beautiful Crane and reeds C6 card -  Day 199 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I was a bit late posting this on Instagram today but here is how I made this pretty card using a Tattered Lace die.... How I made this card:- I first of all die cut the Tattered Lace Crane and reeds Oriental image out of white card (you would need an A5 and above cutting machine to do this). I then attached it to a piece of Kraft card and cut it so that there wasn't any border around it. I coloured the Crane in pink using my Chameleon pencils and edged round the panel using a black alcohol marker. I attached the whole thing to a pre scored C6 Adorable Scorable cream/ivory card using some Collall All Purpose glue. I then stamped out the sentiment Life is Beautiful (I think it is from a Stamps by Me set) with Rare Earth Clear Glass ink on to some black card, added some Pure White Embossing powder and set it with my Heat gun. Bee Happy Round Wall hanging -  Day 173 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's project is a wall hanging using Hunkydory's Bee Happy For The Love of Stamps and a chipboard/MDF circle. How I made this project:- I first of all painted both back front of this chipboard (but it could be MDF) using Black Gesso a couple of times leaving it to dry between coats. I then stamped the beehive, honeycomb, bees and the sentiment Bee Happy using Versamagic ink pad and then heat embossed them with White embossing powder. When they were cool,I coloured the beehive in using Chameleon pencils and highlighted the BEE part of the sentiment again with yellow and orange pencils. I also coloured the bees bodies with the same colour. You can use ribbon or cord so that it can be hung up. Hugs ... for your friendship Flowers and bling 7x5" white card -  Day 169 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card for my 365 day challenge has been made using Chameleon pencils and a Stamps By Me die along with a Hug.. for your friendship stamps. How I made this card:- I first of all cut out the flower die (from Stamps By Me) in black card stock and as it stays within it, I then added some white linen effect card on the back and cut round both. I then coloured the image in using Chameleon pencils (they are great as they are double ended so you can shade things easily). As you can see I used Orange and Yellows for the flowers and greens for the leaves. I used a panel of brown card (either Lynda Chapman's World of Paper or American Crafts) which measures about 4" x 6" and added it to a landscape fold 7" x 5" white hammered effect card. Warm Wishes Cute mice and sunflowers C6 white linen effect card - Day 90 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is easy to make and would be great for all sorts of occasions - once again I have used Hunkydory's For The Love of Stamps for the main toppers. How I made this card:- I had made a start on a gatefold card but thought it didn't really work so decided to use one of the panels to make this card! I coloured the panel with Rare Earth blending inks (Lavender Mist, Bluebell and Khaki) to create the landscape. I tore a piece of green paper/light card from the DoCrafts Solid 6"x6" pack and stuck it to the bottom of the panel trimming it to fit. I then cut out the tree (Bare Trees from Tattered Lace Woodland Pines collection) using brown card and some self adhesive Sticky Roll on the back. I also stamped out the sun using one of the circular frames using Yellow Distress ink (from The Essentials inserts Collection - Frames...

Blast off - 3.2.1 Triple aperture DL card...  Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is a fun space themed card I have made using Hunkydory's "Out of this world" set of stamps, some inks from Altenew and DoCrafts, along with my Chameleon pencils (which I really love).... How I made this card... I used two of the Hunkydory's DL triple aperture card and cut the front of one of them (trimming it slightly to make sure it fitted the back of the remaining card). I then took the aperture circles out (removing the frames) and stamped 3 of them with the Spaceman, Earth and Spacecraft (from the Out of this World Stamp collection from Hunkydory's "For the Love of Stamps" using Tuxedo Blank Memento ink and left them to dry a bit. I also used the small rocket from the collection and stamped the front of the main card. I then coloured them all in using a variety of Chameleon pencils, Alcohol markers and inks.
